Jeb Bush signed, a law that allows Floridians to meet 'force with force' — inside or outside the home." More news from the gun free utopia. Even the crows are aggressive and without fear of defensive action.
All that's really needed is some common-sense crow control.

"News that US Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA) has scheduled a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, which he chairs, on youth violence for Monday morning at the National Constitution Center was met with severe skepticism by regional and national gun violence groups. According to press reports, Senators Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), Joseph Biden (D-DE), both committee members, and Rick Santorum (R-PA), who is not, will participate."
"Both Specter and Santorum are closely tied to the gun lobby. Specter received a pre-primary endorsement from the National Rifle Association in 2004. Both Pennsylvania Senators voted in 2004 against renewing the federal Assault Weapons Ban, which expired months later, and have consistently upheld the gun lobby's insistence that easy access to guns be maintained or increased, despite raging gun violence in beleaguered cities like Philadelphia and Camden." |

"Unfortunately, it now appears that Best Buy has joined the list of business ban hypocrites - corporations whose policy seems to suggest that they believe Ohioans are less likely to be responsible with concealed firearms than their customers in other states."
------- KABA News Assistant Bruce Krafft contacted BestBuy about their "no guns" policy. Here is the reply he received.
Bruce,
Thank you for contacting Best Buy. I'm Ken with Customer Care and I apologize I was not able to respond sooner.
We appreciate your concern with our stores displaying signs banning guns on the premises. We are committed to abiding to all state and local regulations, and we are also committed to the safety of our customers and employees. Best Buy does not have a company-wide policy prohibiting customers from lawfully carrying hand guns in our stores. Signs prohibiting the lawful carrying of guns in our stores have been removed or will be removed in the near future.
We apologize for any misunderstanding this matter has caused. ... |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
To have no proud monarch driving over me with his gilt coaches; nor his host of excise-men and tax-gatherers insulting and robbing me; but to be my own master, my own prince and sovereign, gloriously preserving my national dignity, and pursuing my true happiness; planting my vineyards, and eating their luscious fruits; and sowing my fields, and reaping the golden grain: and seeing millions of brothers all around me, equally free and happy as myself. This, sir, is what I long for. -- General Francis Marion, American War of Independence, Georgetown, SC [Source: 'Marion, The Life of Gen. Francis Marion' by M. L. Weems, Ch.18] |
