President Joe Biden made an announcement he hopes will excite gun control activists for his 2024 reelection bid. The president is calling in his Big Gun to “lead the messaging” on his gun control accomplishments to generate buzz. Media reported the president assigned Vice President Kamala Harris, widely panned as “one of the worst VPs in history,” to be the “leading voice” on gun control and charged her with making those issues front and center for the campaign.

Robbers stole up to $1,500 in firearm accessories and caused a preliminary estimate of $20,000 in damages after ramming a car into the Phoenix Gun Co. LLC on June 3. “You can’t help but feel violated at that point,” said Joshua Kuk, the owner. Kuk said an alert from his security system woke him up around 4:40 a.m. last Saturday. “We don’t think like a criminal. I was not picturing someone driving a car through my store,” he said. “When I first showed up, to be honest, I couldn’t even walk to the front of this store. I just felt my heart kind of break.” |

Modern bolt-action and semi-automatic rifles in an impressive variety of models and calibers, including specialized versions for PRS/Long Range shooting, are probably the first things that come to mind when one hears the sonorous U.S. manufacturer's name Savage Arms. Connoisseurs of the subject may also have associations with the innovative straight-pull repeaters of the Impulse series or the attractive self-loading shotguns of the young Renegauge series. |

While President Joe Biden (D) continues to call for “universal” background checks for firearm sales, his son’s attorneys are reportedly preparing to argue that Hunter Biden shouldn’t be charged with lying on a federal background check form because last year’s New York State Pistol & Rifle Association v. Bruen ruling rendered his background check unconstitutional. |

Firearms classes cost time and money. Are they worth it? With any pursuit, from swinging a golf club to shooting a handgun, we improve more rapidly and efficiently when we learn under the supervision of an experienced teacher. The earlier we begin the formal learning process, the more we can benefit from those lessons. |

Frangible – the characteristic of breaking into tiny fragments – is a bullet that doesn't deform or expand like a hollow point, but instead shatters or disintegrates upon impact with the target. This target is anything harder than the bullet itself, which is usually made of composite materials that are pressed together with adhesives or formed under high pressure into a "solid" bullet shape. Frangible bullets are sometimes known as Advanced Energy Transfer rounds, or AETs, and the Glaser Safety Slug is by far the most recognizable name.

Point shooting is a defensive-handgun technique that is probably as old as the first defensive handgun. Some have called it instinctive shooting, although there is nothing instinctive about shooting. Others have called it hip shooting, although shooting from the hip is only one part of point shooting. It is simply a defensive technique where the gun is pointed at the target and fired without using the sights. |

Claiming his new gun control laws will improve public safety while respecting the rights of gun owners, Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont this week signed sweeping legislation which limits the number of handguns that may be purchased in a 30-day period, bans open carry, increases penalties for failure to report lost or stolen guns and requires registration of so-called unserialized “ghost guns.” |
