"The flag is a great symbol of the sacrifice made for the nation. It is arrogance to forget the sacrifices that got us here." |

Special Prosecutor Stephen Yagman, who was appointed by Woodbury to handle the case, criticized the decision and said he hoped a different prosecutor might refile the charge or bring a more severe charge.
"I could not disagree more with this decision than I do," Yagman said. "It sounds to me like the system has suffered a temporary corruption." ~~~~ This temporary corruption seems more like permanent corruption. Can we stop the corruption without going to that last box? |

"The environmentalists operate from the top down," said Hardiman. "They get millions of dollars to these big left-wing foundations -like the Rockefeller family and the Pew Charitable Trust- so they've got plenty of lawyers and accountants to figure ... out how to navigate campaign finance law... So if you have all these new free speech restrictions, the environmentalists can just spend more money and shrug it off." |

One issue always on the congressional agenda is lowering the crime rate. However, overzealous congressmen and crime control groups are trying to reduce crime rates through removing civil rights.
One of the most glaring examples is Senator Jack Reed's (D-RI) Gun Show Background Check Act of 2001. The new background check act would close the "gun show loophole" by extending the Brady Bill background check requirements to all firearm sales. |
