When Nov. 8 rolls around, you will be voting for a lot of people running for office at all levels and among the races are positions as judges — a more important elected office than one might imagine. There are many ways to protect your Second Amendment rights. Participating in judicial elections is one of the most overlooked. It is imperative to check the backgrounds of people who wish to sit in judgment of all because the courtroom can be a Pandora’s Box of legal activism. |

Set aside what you imagine about guns and protecting students at school. Keeping our kids safe is hard work. It is a dull and ugly grind, and almost always unappreciated.
Contrast that with the one-click solution of “gun-control”. Gun-control politicians say they can put a few words on paper, hold a few press conferences, and it will be as if evil simply went away.. or did it?
We’re conducting several large-scale social experiments at the same time. The outcome, and our children’s lives, depends on what we choose to do. |

Left-wing radical and anti-gun activist Mondaire Jones recently laid into America in an emotionally driven, politically inspired rant about guns. Jones, a U.S. Representative for New York’s 17th Congressional district used many of the typical anti-gun talking points and much of the overused, misguided rhetoric in a desperate attempt to politicize the death of innocent children, walk on their graves and confuse Americans as to what the actual causes of human violence are in America. When a false sense of moral superiority meets political frustration, the left-wing seems to completely lose sight of reality and as a result good people are put in danger.

As if Joe Biden didn’t have enough trouble with recent polling data, he has once again opened himself up to snickers by declaring himself to be a gun owner in remarks he made at a fundraiser in California last week, according to a White House transcript.
“I’m a gun owner,” Biden said. “I own two shotguns. My son Beau passed away. He had another shot gun. We used to like to skeet shoot. We weren’t hunters.” |

Introduced by Alexander Arms at the 2004 SHOT Show, the 6.5mm Grendel was developed in an intermediate caliber that would outperform the 5.56x45 round and would be effective up to 800 yards out. It also needed to be chambered in the AR-15 platform, including the double stack magazine configuration. The resulting cartridge has a “necked up” case based on the 6mm PPC benchrest cartridge. |

EDC folders are in large part pretty inexpensive and relatively cheap knives that are used for everyday tasks. If you wind up breaking or abusing your EDC knife, it shouldn’t be too much of a pain to replace it. However, some people always like to carry the best and keep them around for when it matters most. Whether this means for self-defense, a quality blade can be a boon for the EDC folder category and Sandrin Knives in Italy has just announced the introduction of their new Monza Tungsten Carbide Knife.

Gun grabbers have a peculiar tendency to invoke guns’ use as sporting devices as a rationale for gun control. Take actor Matthew McConaughey, who just last week seems to have charmed the pants off of some Americans, and even some gun rights proponents when he argued in favor of gun control intervention to stop gun violence, such as raising the minimum age requirement to purchase an AR-15 to 21.

The Deep State war on the gun rights of Americans, supposedly a response to a number of recent mass shootings, has nothing to do with public safety, and everything to do with disarming victims so they can be more effectively oppressed, warns The New American magazine’s Alex Newman in this episode of Behind the Deep State. |

Ohio is making it easier for teachers and school employees to carry weapons. The state says in a new law that teachers need only 24 hours of training—not 700—in order to carry a gun in a school setting. Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine signed this change into law on Monday. Seven hundred hours of training certainly seems excessive. Surely, whatever needs to be covered in terms of gun safety should be able to be taught in a much shorter amount of time.

Maine’s top federal law enforcement official, U.S. Attorney Darcie McElwee, is trying to curb the state’s record as a significant source of guns used to commit crimes in other states. “As U.S. Attorney, I don’t want guns leaving our state that are being used in crimes elsewhere,” McElwee said in an interview. “Individuals should know that our office regularly prosecutes people who purchase guns for other people, and in particular if someone were to buy one for a minor.” |

The company revered for all-American lever-action rifles actually builds a significant number of firearms outside that cowboy scope. In fact, Henry Repeating Arms offers a healthy dose of single shots, a semi-automatic, a few youth bolts, and the one with perhaps the greatest cult following – the Pump Action Octagon. Here’s what you’ll want to know about one of the few slide-driven rimfires still in production today and why it remains a solid seller.
