As many of you have probably seen ads for Alien Gear online, I will not go into the details of what they promise. You can look that up at their website. I will dive into what you get. First off, I was looking for a cost effective holster to replace a IWB tuck-able holster I had for my S&W Shield. |

Coming on the heels of the Orlando terrorist attack, Democratic politicians – including the President and party nominee Hillary Clinton – responded by calling for more stringent gun control laws, particularly limiting access to the AR-15, repeatedly referred to as , incorrectly, the weapon Omar Mateen used to kill 49. |

The mass shooting at the nightclub in Orlando a week ago today represents the latest of what has become a reoccurring nightmare in America. Family and friends are mourning again. Flags are at half-staff again. And once again, there are calls for gun control, which happens every time there's an incident like this. |

Look around the next time you’re out in public. You never know who might be legally carrying a concealed weapon. They don’t talk about it. They don’t flash it around. They just choose to exercise their Second Amendment right. Male, female, young, old, any race, ethnicity, or creed; they look just like anybody else. Now more than ever, the gun ownership demographic is shifting. |

Less than a month after opening to the public, Liberty Firearms Institute is halfway to the membership goal that will trigger an expansion of the 100,000-square-foot shooting business, its owner says. The facility, with indoor shooting ranges, a gun store and training rooms, opened May 2 for people who had prepurchased memberships and May 28 to the public, according to Grant Schmeeckle, manager and partner in the family-owned business. |

In the wake of the horrific killings at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, the usual suspects predictably are saying the usual things, blaming anyone and anything but the culprit to further their political agenda. The National Rifle Association is to blame, they say. Or gun manufacturers. Or AR-15s and high-capacity magazines. Some rail against Congress. Others blame right-wing bigots or Christians. |

Donald Trump’s visit Saturday drew about 6,000 supporters despite triple-degree temperatures and ended without the violent incidents or major disruptions seen at some of his other rallies. While there were no major protests at the rally at Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix, several speakers including Trump used fiery rhetoric against Hillary Clinton and President Obama, Democrats in general, gun-control advocates, illegal immigrants, the media and even some Republicans. |

As Senate Democrats filibuster, I’m left wondering: what would Democrats do if conservatives agreed to halt the sale of semi-automatic assault-style rifles only if Democrats agreed to ban abortions after 20 weeks? |

For years, the editorial page that has most fervently favored stricter gun control in America hasn’t been found in The New York Times, The Washington Post, or The Boston Globe. It’s been on the pages of The Onion, America’s leading news-satire organization. Two days after the massacre at Orlando’s Pulse gay nightclub, which was carried out with an AR-15-style weapon, The Onion (which smirkingly bills itself as “America’s finest news source”) published an op-ed titled, “It’s An Honor To Continue Being Valued Over Countless Human Lives.” |

Maryland is one of at least three states where gun-control advocates recently failed to push through legislation to bar people on terror watch lists from purchasing weapons - a safeguard that is drawing new attention in the wake of last Sunday's mass shooting in Orlando, Florida. The watch-list measure never made it out of committee during the 2016 legislative session in Annapolis. It died amid pressure from the National Rifle Association, confusion about how the state could access a federal government watch list and concerns from both conservatives and progressives about people who may be on the watch list in error. |

What democrats and anti-rights bigots want is to ban all effective weapons in American hands. Without realizing it (maybe) they pursue marxist goals of making the public subservient to the government boot. It is the exact opposite of why the Second Amendment is in the Constitution in the first place: It’s there to balance federal power.
In their last bill, Diane Feinstein’s, they listed guns in a 90-page catalog, but that was a trick to throw you off. You think this bill will go backwards and list fewer? |

A Florida deputy facing 29 sex charges related to child pornography has shot and killed himself after posting bail, authorities said.
The department began investigating Costa after colleagues noticed he rarely left his office during his night shift, authorities said. His computer was examined and showed he had been watching hardcore incest, bondage and child pornography while at work, according to The Associated Press.
Submitters note: And some people believe these are the only people that should be allowed to have guns. |

Look anywhere in this nation born of a bloody revolution of musket fire, and you’re likely to find sharp disagreement over guns. Democrats war with Republicans; small towns are pitted against cities. Women and men are at odds, as are blacks and whites and old and young. North clashes with South, East with West. “The current gun debate is more polarized and sour than any time before in American history,” said Adam Winkler, a constitutional law professor at UCLA and author of the 2011 book, Gunfight: The Battle Over the Right to Bear Arms in America. |

A top official with the National Rifle Association affirmed that Donald Trump and the group hold the same policy position on gun control. On ABC's "This Week" on Sunday, NRA chief lobbyist Chris Cox said that recent comments from the presumptive Republican nominee, whom the NRA has endorsed, are in line with the group's own platform on gun control. |

After the recent carnage in Orlando where 49 young men and women were gunned down in cold blood, the politicians and the talking heads have dusted off their now familiar script and are talking past each other. Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, along with the right wing Republicans and the like-minded talking heads want us to see the massacre through the prism of religious violence and terrorism. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
"And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling in terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand? [...] The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt!" —Alexander Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago (Chapter 1 "Arrest") |
