This is included in their "Hate Groups" section. Their Leftist slant is obvious, beginning with the fact that they claim the "movement" started in 1993! Some of the "Prominent Leaders" are people we know personally. Under "Ideology" they say, "Anti-government and conspiracy-oriented in nature; prominent focus on firearms".
I wonder if some of these "prominent leaders" could sue for Libel and Slander?
And they call themselves the "Anti-Defamation League"? |

"the Senate passed an education bill last week with no gun control amendments attached to it. The "disaster that didn't happen" will never make the front page of the New York Times, but this doesn't mean that it didn't take all the skill and input that gun owners could muster in order to avoid a catastrophe.
In fact, had gun owners done nothing, there is a strong likelihood that we would have been faced with a nightmare reminiscent of the Lautenberg and Kohl gun bans which passed the Senate in 1996." --GOA Alerts |

Lifetime TV produced a show about the gun issue entitled "The Gun Deadlock". This link goes to their website page regarding this show. It was remarkably balanced compared to most TV shows about guns, giving the pro-gun folks equal time. However, the anti-gun people spouted all their usual lies, most of which were not debunked. If you've seen the show and are interested in providing your own comments, they have a public message board at the site where you can do so. |

"Why the fury against Professor Ellis' transgressions and the shrug toward those of Professor Bellesiles? Perhaps because Professor Ellis won fame and admiration for personalizing history, his lies about his biography seems like a betrayal of our trust. By contrast, many historians accept the Left's premise that all historical writing embodies political agendas and they are not much bothered to see a relaxed attitude toward factual accuracy." --Peter Wood
~He compares Mt. Holyoke's Ellis's personal lies with Bellesiles anti-gun lies. Says publishing deliberately false "scholarship" much worse than telling personal tall-tales. |
