"I had blogged about how we should worry about States imposing more gun control now that the Feds have fizzled out. They are still talking about a do over and watering down a proposal just so they can say the Democratic Senate did something about gun control. This will make the next Democratic Presidential candidate more attractive. I have a feeling it will be Hillary as they will use the gender card to try to win over the large number of mothers who voted for Obama and are in favor of gun control. Got to love our mothers. "Apparently ID theft affects those of us over the age of 50 more than others. Although not directly a gun topic, Identities are stolen by felons in order to buy guns when only an ID is required. It is no secret to us city boys that willing Motor Vehicle employees willing to sell you a drivers license under any name you want, can be found in any major city. As someone who does security checks on people, I know that danger of just using one form of ID. These days we require two picture ID’s for a minimum. I have read enough stories about people using stolen identities to know that is does occur often enough to talk about. What is unclear to me is whether stolen Identities are report to NICS or not. ..." ... |

Despite the various aliases and email addresses you use, if you shoot someone, your computer will be seized and searched for all those websites you visited. All websites have logs and keep information for very long periods of time. I can find posts I made before the internet became graphical, for example. Your cable company will be subpoenaed to provide a list of any IP addresses you used as their customer and asked for records of every IP (website) you visited. "Walther’s PPS, or Police Pistol Slim, has been on the US market for quite a few years now. It was here long before the Smith & Wesson Shield and Springfield XDs was available to consumers. To be honest, as I did my research before purchasing one, I was a bit surprised at how little press the PPS has received despite the fact that it offers some unique features that even the current crop of great handguns have not yet matched. My overall experience with the handgun has been very positive so far, and I believe anyone looking for a single-stack, easily concealable handgun should give the PPS some serious consideration.
