In an apparent case of self-defense, a man was fatally shot during a family disturbance in Moreno Valley on Sunday morning, officials said.
Deputies arrived at 1:15 a.m. to a home in the 23700 block of Blackbird Circle to a report of multiple people involved in a family altercation, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement.
“During the incident, an estranged family arrived at the location and broke into the residence while threatening to cause harm to the occupants. The occupants confronted the estranged family member who became hostile. During the altercation, a resident used a firearm against the assailant,” the statement said. |

Having a less-than-lethal option in your EDC gear is a pretty great idea. Even if all it ever does is give you peace of mind about warding off aggressive canines on your afternoon run, having the option gives you more tools in your self-defense toolbox. Not every confrontation can or should have a ballistic solution, yet there are absolutely situations where having something is better than nothing, and in these cases, OC/pepper spray is a great option. |

Ultimately, citing the fact that the law had been changed, the justices sidestepped the issue, sending the case back to the lower court for further consideration.
Alito was furious.
"By incorrectly dismissing this case as moot, the court permits our docket to be manipulated in a way that should not be countenanced," Alito wrote in a dissent joined by Thomas and Gorsuch. He noted that after the court had agreed to hear the case, the city "sprang into action to prevent us from deciding this case" and that its public safety concerns "evaporated." |

Is Alice Arambarri’s call for action merely a poorly disguised and insensitive attempt to enact more gun control on the backs and frayed emotions of the families who have suffered already? She appears to be stretching the statistics to achieve an agenda that would put more people at risk. Chicago, with its extreme gun control measures, is a fine example of how the unarmed citizens are at the mercy of the armed felons, gangs, criminals. It is wrong to manipulate the emotions of families already suffering to twist the facts merely to undermine the Second Amendment. |

On 23 June, 2020, the Oklahoma Supreme Court dealt another blow to the efforts by Democrat Jason Lowe and others to kill Constitutional Carry in Oklahoma.
Constitutional Carry is the right to carry a loaded handgun in most public spaces, concealed or openly. It is the state of law that existed when the Constitution was written and when the Bill of Rights was ratified.
On 27 February, 2019 Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt signed HB 2597 into law. Oklahoma became the 15th member of the Constitutional Carry club. |

A married couple have been filmed brandishing firearms at a group of protesters who marched through their upscale St. Louis neighborhood, Sunday night en route to the home of Mayor Lyda Krewson.
Husband and wife, Mark and Patricia ‘Patty’ McCloskey who are both personal injury lawyers, at ‘McCloskey Law’ could be seen aiming their weapons, he an AR-15 rifle, her a pistol, at demonstrators who walked by their palatial property in the wealthy Forest Park neighborhood at around 6pm on Sunday. |

Hawk Newsome—while boasting how right it is to “burn it down”—also oddly interjected the announcement that Black Lives Matter will practice their “Second Amendment rights” in the pursuit of their demands.
Armed thuggery, bragged about, on primetime news?
My hunch is the cowardly mayors will bow to the angry mob again and look the other way on the firearms. But God help you if, as a law-abiding American citizen, you get stopped while Constitutionally carrying. |

Now is the time to contact your County Board supervisor.
There is a movement across the country and across Wisconsin to pass resolutions to declare counties as Second Amendment Sanctuaries. Any person who supports the 2nd Amendment should support creating 2nd Amendment sanctuary counties which would prohibit funding for enforcement of any unconstitutional law relating to firearms, support local law enforcement’s refusal to enforce unconstitutional laws relating to firearms, and oppose any laws that infringe on every citizen’s 2nd Amendment rights to keep and bear arms. |

The long drive from Jackson, Mississippi, to this rural community in northeast Oklahoma is one Houston Hardin doesn’t mind taking each June.
It’s always a blast.
Thousands of Second Amendment advocates and gun enthusiasts have gathered in this tiny town each June for 19 years to meet up with friends, shoot fully automatic weapons, ride in helicopters, and even blow up broken-down cars at the Oklahoma Full Auto Shoot and Trade Show. Above all, they say, they hope to educate people about firearm safety and demonstrate why the Second Amendment is important. |
