Though gun controllers often hide behind the ever-shifting goalposts of what they claim are “common-sense solutions,” sometimes their true goals slip right out into the open. Such a case occurred when former Rep. Gabby Giffords (D-Ariz.), in a recent interview with Time, made the true goal of the gun-control group Giffords clear when she said, “No more guns.” |

Colorado Gov. Jared Polis (D) signed a bill on Friday banning the manufacture and sale of “ghost guns,” — unserialized firearms that are privately made or put together through gun kits that are generally hard to trace. The new law, which the governor signed on National Gun Violence Awareness Day, also establishes a process for anyone with a “ghost gun” to have it legally registered.

May 2023 has passed, and all we're left with is a confusing and backward brace rule currently in effect for all but a select few. It's not all bad, though. Americans continue to show up to the gun counter in droves, not to be deterred from exercising our constitutional rights. Braces might be out of play for the moment, but you can bet we're still selling a ton of AR-15s and other modern sporting rifles. Great deals continue to dominate the top sellers list here, and we've had some doozies over the past month.

In 2022, a depraved gunman entered a crowded shopping mall in Greenwood, Ind., and opened fire. .357 SIG (or 9x22mm) may not have set the handgun world on fire quite the way Federal and SIG Sauer wanted it to, but that wasn’t necessarily the round’s fault. Since its introduction nearly 30 years ago, it has gained a niche but loyal following and proven itself to be a worthy defensive cartridge. |

He’s been hooked on it ever since, and his shooting skill and dedication have grown exponentially after nearly a decade in the sport.
“I just started with leagues once every few weeks and went from there,” he said. “Then one of my coaches found me while shooting leagues and I just haven’t stopped since.”
All his years of hard work paid off when he parlayed the best performance of his young career to date into a national title at the 2023 Junior Men’s Trap National Championship in Hillsdale, Michigan. |

We can stop mass-murderers from killing students if we’re willing to face a few truths. An ordinary volunteer in the classroom is a better defender than a certified professional who arrives too late. When seconds count, quantity has a quality of its own.
So why are politicians standing in the way of saving kids? |
