Two men, one armed with a single barrelled rifle, stole cash and postal orders during a post office robbery.
The men, both wearing white paper suits and dust masks over their faces, struck at the Piccadilly Post Office in north Warwickshire on Friday afternoon.
They demanded staff hand over the cash and then escaped in a red old-style Ford Escort.
The car was later found abandoned near to a rifle range in Kingsbury and is being examined by forensic experts. |

Police have released a security photo of a man they wish to speak to in relation to an armed robbery at Kyneton, north of Melbourne.
Detectives said a man armed with a Lee Enfield .303 rifle entered the Kyneton BP service station just after 9pm on May 29.
The man pointed the rifle at two cashiers and after demanding money was given cash from the two registers before he escaped.
He was described as wearing a grey beanie and a grey scarf wrapped around his face, and carried an orange shopping bag.
