The Hornady V-MAX line of ammunition was created for varmint control, as the bullet has a thin jacket and was designed to fragment on impact with a target, even at low velocities. For many years, your standard varmint ammo was pretty much whatever you had on hand, and this produced mixed results depending on what you were shooting. The V-MAX has a lot of features to make sure any critter is humanely dispatched immediately and is extremely accurate. |

Contrary to what many loud voices in the media have been saying, Second Amendment supporters, to a person, are horrified at the events that took place in Buffalo and Laguna Woods over the weekend. Unlike many others, though, we had to deal with the usual lies and the ghoulish exploitation of a horrific act by anti-Second Amendment extremists. |

New research from John Lott, president of the Crime Prevention Research Center, reveals that a shockingly large percentage of Americans believe that most violent crimes involve a firearm. This is not true. As Lott recently wrote “a new survey finds that people are badly misinformed about how much violent crime involves guns. The average likely voter is way off, thinking that over 46% of violent crimes involve guns. In fact, the true figure is less than 8%. Not surprisingly, those who believe that most violent crime involves guns are more likely to view gun control as the solution.”
