"It's about time we knocked the living daylights out of the United Nations," John Michael Snyder, public affairs director of the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, said.
Snyder condemned the UN General Assembly treaty vote calling on all nations to adopt firearm registration and other gun control laws. He said, "the treaty action is a direct and insulting attack on the individual Second Amendment civil right of law-abiding American citizens to keep and bear arms." |

"The Tyranny Response Team or TRT has become one of the more effective grass roots 2nd Amendment rights groups. Founded by gun shop owner Bob Glass, largely as a response to the socialist Million Mom Marchers, TRT members (and the equally fine group Second Amendment Sisters) can be found at any well-publicized anti-gun rally and usually outnumber the victim disarmament crowd." --Jeff Elkins
And the "Anti-Defamation League" (ADL) doesn't like it one bit. |

"When announcing Project Safe Neighborhoods, Bush cited a litany of statistics dear to the hearts of gun control lobbyists, such as:
"Nationally, there were 12,658 murders in 1999, 2/3 of which were shooting deaths"; and
"In America today, a teenager is more likely to die from a gunshot than from all natural causes of death combined."
In a revealing omission, he completely ignored the estimated 2.5 million incidents each year in which guns are utilized as self-defense rescue tools by peaceful Americans." |

Says charge that FBI fired on fleeing Davidians 'well-justified.' -By Jon Dougherty
An independent imagery expert has confirmed the findings contained in a video documentary that government agents fired weapons into the Branch Davidian complex as it burned in Waco, Texas, April 19, 1993.
Also, he says his analysis of the film has turned up even more personnel – and gunfire – than previously discovered by the producer of a series of Waco documentaries. |

Jon Dougherty hits the nail on the head again. Americans are starting to open their eyes and recognize that this is not the country our forefathers had in mind.
The question is, WHAT DO WE WANT AMERICA TO BE? |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
I do believe that where there is a choice only between cowardice and violence, I would advise violence. Thus when my eldest son asked me what he should have done had he been present when I was almost fatally assaulted in 1908 [by an Indian extremist opposed to Gandhi's agreement with Smuts], whether he should have run away and seen me killed or whether he should have used his physical force which he could and wanted to use, and defend me, I told him it was his duty to defend me even by using violence. Hence it was that I took part in the Boer War, the so-called Zulu Rebellion and [World War I]. Hence also do I advocate training in arms for those who believe in the method of violence. I would rather have India resort to arms in order to defend her honor than that she should in a cowardly manner become or remain a helpless witness to her own dishonor. — Mohandas K. Gandhi, Young India, August 11, 1920 from Fischer, Louis ed.,The Essential Gandhi, 1962 |
