Gone are the days of putting up with spent hulls flying in front of the face of left-handed shooters or struggling with odd palm swells and backwards controls. Though several companies offered left-handed variants for many years, they were few and far between, often requiring special order.

There’s no doubt that the 12-gauge shotgun is the most popular shotgun caliber in the United States. It is extremely versatile and can handle a wide range of payloads for hunting anything North America has to offer. Furthermore, the 12 gauge is the de facto choice of military and law enforcement for all their tactical shotgun needs. |

When it comes to the scholarly debate about the iconic rifle cartridges of the Cold War, the 7.62x51mm NATO (308 Winchester) and the 7.62x39 Soviet are always omnipresent in the discussion. One became a staple NATO round and the most prevalent big game hunting cartridge in North America, while the other became a symbol of pure, unadulterated ruggedness and dependability. |

The Second Amendment of the US Constitution allows for the right to bear arms. About one-third of US adults personally own a gun, and statistics show that there are approximately 120.5 guns per 100 people in this country. Personal protection tops the list of reasons for keeping a gun, but sport shooting, hunting, and collecting also make that list. Over the last 80 years, the share of Americans with a gun in their home has ranged from 34% to 51%, according to Gallup survey data.

According to a criminal complaint reviewed by Newsweek, at approximately 1:17 a.m. ET July 5, two U.S. marshals were stationed on "protective detail" in Washington, D.C., when a silver minivan "stopped directly next" to the officers.

Ruger’s famed semi-auto 10/22 is an undeniable powerhouse as far as .22 LR plinking rifles are concerned. It has dominated the world of semi-auto rimfire rifles since its introduction in the mid-1960s. Yet, despite its age, little about the mechanics of the 10/22 has changed over all those years.
So, what do you get when the classic 10/22 faces off with a modernized upstart like Winchester’s innovative Wildcat .22 LR rifle? Can this far newer rimfire actually challenge the decades-long king of plinkers?
