At Chêne Gear, the company mantra is pretty simple: create waterfowl hunting waders that are built better. They're also devoting a new initiative to help support hunting opportunities and conservation of the migratory birds that call North America home. For every pair of waders they sell this year, they'll purchase and send a 2022-23 Migratory Bird Stamp as a way of saying thanks.

I’ll be honest, when the original Hellcat was released in 2019, I was disappointed. Even though I liked the aesthetics and most of the features, my hands were simply too large to get a comfortable grip, and I found it to be overly snappy.
Fast forward to earlier this year when the 9mm Hellcat Pro was released with its taller grip and longer barrel, and I just had to get my hands on one right away. I’ve now had the Hellcat Pro for three months and have put just shy of 550 rounds through it. Let’s just say, I’m no longer disappointed.

Last week Sig Sauer turned a page and began the latest chapter of its story by opening a one-of-a-kind flagship location in New Hampshire.
Dubbed the Sig Experience Center, the 40,000 sq. ft. facility has been years in the making and is a showcase to the world, a love letter to the brand's fan base, and an open invitation to anyone curious about learning more about firearms. The company pulled out all the stops on the $13.5 million SEC, which includes not only a retail store and serves as a landing pad for the Sig Sauer Academy Shooting Facility with a complete conference and events facility, but also hosts the Sig Sauer Museum, and the exclusive members-only Club 1751.

My first "real" gun was a Ruger 10/22, which shoots 22 long rifle, while my first concealed carry pistol was a Smith & Wesson 9mm Shield.
My grandfather owns a varmint gun chambered in 22 Mag, which we often shot growing up. |

Meet Anne Mauro. Mauro claims she’s five foot two inches, generously allowing herself a slight bit of extra height, but admitting to the white lie. "What’s a quarter of an inch amongst friends?" she posed. Mauro is a giant, having designed the Syren shotgun for Ceasar Guerini and the F16 Intution for Blaser, who holds either and both with grace, wisdom and experience. Here's how a 5/2" giant schooled two veteran clays shooters! |

After years of incorporating the terms “assault rifle” and “assault weapons” into news reports involving firearms, especially when used in crimes, journalists are now advised by the Associated Press to avoid the “highly politicized terms,” and the Second Amendment Foundation says it’s a “smart gun change.”

A report from the San Francisco Chronicle indicates California Democrats are preparing to restrict where concealed carry handguns can be carried and to raise the age for concealed carry from 18 to 21.
The Chronicle also notes that “lawmakers are preparing to…restrict the areas where concealed firearms could be carried — bans that would include not only schools, courthouses and other government buildings, but also public parks and playgrounds, hospitals and bars, buses and trains, and demonstrations requiring government permits.” |

On July 11, Joe Biden held an event at the White House to celebrate what his administration called “the most significant gun violence legislation to have been signed into law in 30 years.” The ink on the so-called “Bipartisan Safer Communities Act,” passed over the NRA’s objection, is barely dry. And the same can be said for the U.S. Supreme Court’s latest pronouncement on the Second Amendment, which reinforces the principle that the right to keep and bear arms is a defining feature of American freedom and self-governance. |

While CrossBreed did not invent the belly band, it did raise the industry standard for what belly bands should be with the introduction of the original Modular Belly Band several years ago. The introduction of a Kydex holster onto a carry system that traditionally relied on soft polyester pouches to secure the gun improved carry safety by offering a solid shell, form-fit to the gun, just like a traditional IWB (Inside the Waistband) holster.
