... "Closing the 'gun show loophole' enables the government to curtail person to person sales. That is what is really behind the attack on gun shows. Every gun would have to be turned into a gun dealer so that it could be tracked by the Federal Government and then the transfer process would be monitored by the Federal Government. The right you have now to sell your neighbor your shotgun will be gone, forever." ...

... "For over two centuries now, young Americans have put on the uniform, and gone off to fight and die for Old Glory. They were, with few exceptions, recognized as adults in our society. But, in 1968, with implementation of the Gun Control Act, 18-20 year old young people have had their citizenship partially revoked. They come back from war, and are denied the best tools for personal defense. They have been sent to the back of the bus when it comes to handgun purchases. Gun dealers are prohibited from selling handguns to this group of young people, thus infringing on their Constitutional rights under the Second Amendment." ...

Armor is heavy, expensive and creates a lot of bulk which you may not need or want as an American Shooter. 'But how will I carry all my magazines, first aid kit, hydration system, knifes, lights, random pouches and most importantly; moral patches without an IOTV?' Why do you think you need all that stuff to be an effective fighter? Throughout history into our current conflicts some of the most effective and envied fighters go in light and get out quick. The steel was tougher and could stand up to a stronger chambering. And that is the most important difference: the chambering of the 1873." ...
