"Last week, Jack and Jill Pacifisto were walking home through the park after dinner with friends, during which they had spent a few hours discussing the immorality of violence and war and their commitments to send more money to progressive activists ... Suddenly, Tony Thug stepped out of the shadows and pointed a pistol at Jack and said, 'Give me your wallet,' and, pointing the gun at Jill, 'Your purse.'" ...

"Jack and Jill handed over their wallet, and purse, and all their jewelry and Rolex watches, and then Tony shot them both twice in the chest and picked up the loot and stepped back into the shadows." ...

"If you're a cop on the beat, you should know that lawmakers in Congress have you targeted this week. They're going to try to pass multiple bills that threaten to make your life more dangerous."

"'When the United States House of Representatives considers the issue of identity theft this week, it should take steps to strengthen protections against ID theft, rather than weaken existing protections,' gun rights expert John M. Snyder said here this morning." ...

"H.R. 4127, Snyder said, 'would require that each time a security breach of personal security is detected the intended target or victim of the breach be notified by the responsible party. We consider this one of the most significant features of the Stearns bill. Consequently, it was unfortunate that last week the House leadership indicated it would bring up this week a bill that does not contain this provision. ...'" ...

FULL TEXT BELOW:

Attorneys for a former Bakersfield elementary school principal accused of killing five members of his family are suggesting police may have shot the five.

Recently filed court documents by Vincent Brothers' lawyers say law enforcement officers may have killed Brothers' wife, their three kids and his mother-in-law in 2003. They say the wife believed police were after her because she was a civil rights activist who accused police of misconduct in several high-profile cases.

Both sides in the Brothers case are scheduled to be in court Monday to discuss the defense's request for law enforcement documents.

Submitter's Note: With America fast becoming a police state and knowing that police in other police states do exactly what is claimed by the defendant - Geez, don't know who to believe anymore.

 QUOTES TO REMEMBER
Thanks to the government’s past record, it is unfortunately very predictable that, in spite of the severe penalties mandated, tens of thousands of people will not comply at all (with Bill C-68). A new class of criminal will be created among harmless citizens whose previous lawbreaking may have resulted in nothing more than parking tickets. — Lee Morrison, Canadian Mounted Police
