Jury selection begins for the trial of the teenager accused of shooting his principal to death at Weston High School in Cazenovia.

16-year-old Eric Hainstock is charged with first-degree intentional homicide in the death of Weston School principal John Klang. Authorities say Hainstock went to school the day before the schools homecoming activities, intending to kill people.

Klang was shot as he wrestled Hainstock to the floor and knocked his pistol away. Klang later died at a Madison hospital. If convicted, Hainstock faces life in prison.

Interview video of Rudy Giuliani during his time as mayor of NYC stating that the federal government needs to implement an assault weapons ban to help keep guns out of cities like New York and that he doesn't understand organizations like the NRA who fight these bans. As a presidential Giuliani is saying now that he doesn't believe in federal regulation of guns, now we know he's full of it. Pass this around to your friends!

The Department of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives is accusing a Twin Falls gun store manager of harassing and intimidating them.

ATF agents have been examining business records at Red's Trading Post downtown looking for possible violations linked to paperwork which is required by the government.

In turn gun shop manager Ryan Horsley who's also the Twin Falls City Planning and Zoning Commission chairman has been videotaping the agents.

In a web blog Horsley also supplied information about the agents such as their names, what hotel they were staying at and a description of the rental car they were using.

All this is part of an ongoing legal fight over whether Red's will retain the federal license needed to buy and sell firearms.

A 30-year-old Dartmouth man is facing several weapons charges following a domestic disturbance in O'Connor Township last Spring.

While police were in the home to investigate the dispute in May, officers discovered a handgun. It turns out the weapon, a .40-calibre Heckler and Koch pistol, had been stolen from an MNR Conservation Officer in an Oliver-Paipoonge residential break-in in 1998.

Further investigation led to a warrant being issued for 30-year-old Jason Brown. Brown is originally from Thunder Bay, but is now living in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. He faces charges of trafficking a firearm and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.
