Her answer lays bare her oft-repeated big lie about support for our unique American liberty.

Allow me to dissect her smoke-screen answer. The Scalia decision she was referring to, of course, came in the 2008 5-4 landmark U.S. Supreme Court case, District of Columbia v. Heller, which struck down the District’s ban on handguns and its ban on armed self-defense in the home.

In short, Heller marked the first-ever definitive Supreme Court decision upholding the Second Amendment as an individual right.

Shaw was recently asked to train the Marines that protect the President of the United States.

FPF filed suit challenging SB 707, which divides law-abiding gun owners into two classes – and an upcoming hearing could have huge ramifications on the legislature’s ability to pass discriminatory anti-gun laws in the future.

SB 707 banned law-abiding, CCW-licensed individuals from carrying handguns for self-defense on “school grounds.” However, the law created an exemption some former government employees.

Meanwhile, we believe that it is extremely important – a core principal and goal of our society – for every person in the society including people who are demonstrably nuts to be able to get assault rifles if they really want them. People shouldn’t steal assault rifles, of course, but if they have the price, then sure, they should be able to get their hands on an assault rifle, nuts or not.

Clinton referred Trump’s repeated accusations that she plans on abolishing the Second Amendment, a claim which fact-checkers have disputed and gun rights advocates bolster with her own comments about favoring what they call Australian-style gun confiscation.

Clinton said her administration will work with responsible gun owners to pass reforms that would “keep guns out of the hands of criminals, terrorists and all others who would do us harm.”

The tragic shooting of police officers in Dallas this month has already been used as an excuse for the federal government to begin walking back reforms on the militarization of police. Now statist opportunists are citing the attack as a clear sign that it’s time to put an end to the constitutional right to open carry in America.

How much does Hillary Clinton hate our gun rights?

On June 5th, the Democratic nominee joined George Stephanopoulos on the ABC show Sunday Morning This Week to talk about Americans’ gun rights. In the interview, Mrs. Clinton could not even definitively say the Second Amendment was a Constitutional right, but that if it is, it’s subject to ‘reasonable regulation’.

It was not conceived as a right for individuals to bear arms. (Please keep in mind that we’re also talking about muskets in 1787, not god damn AR-15’s.) It was not to protect citizens from international threats. The Second Amendment was created to protect Americans from their own government in the form of “well-regulated militias” or an organized military force formed from “the civil population.”

Second Amendment proponents are scheduled to gather Friday in San Diego to draw attention to efforts in California to increase restrictions on guns and ammunition, and to announce the formation of a coalition to oppose a proposition on the November ballot.

The San Diego County Gun Owners, a political action committee promoting Second Amendment rights planned a news conference featuring a group of local elected officials, business owners, and community leaders at the County Administration Center downtown.

They will include a demonstration of how to legally avoid compliance with California’s newly expanded assault weapon ban.

With so much focus on the presidential election right now, I wanted to make sure you were aware of what’s happening in Colorado.

Darryl Glenn, a great friend of the Second Amendment, surprised the pundits with a resounding win in the Republican primary.

Now he represents one of the few opportunities to turn a U.S. Senate seat from anti-gun to pro-gun.

State Senate Minority Leader Bruce Tarr (R-Gloucester) filed a bill yesterday that would remove Healey’s authority to issue rules and regulations on firearm sales under the state’s consumer protection statute.

The proposed legislation would also prohibit any changes to the definition of assault weapons by administrative action. Healey’s office declined to comment on Tarr’s bill.

Tarr told the Herald last night: “We’re talking about constitutional rights here. All of us want to prevent gun manufacturers from circumventing the law, but all of us want to be sure that when we’re dealing with a constitutional right — like that afforded by the Second Amendment — that we do things properly.”

At East Texas Baptist, workers will be able to carry if they receive approval from the university president, submit to a psychological evaluation and participate in annual active shooter response training. At Southwestern Assemblies of God, faculty and staff will have to apply to carry guns.

Democrats support heavy restrictions. Examples of this would be Sens. Charles Schumer , Diane Feinstein and Harry Reid. Everything from magazine restrictions to outright bans of commonly used firearms is pushed. Rep. Bonnie Watson even claimed that “arms” in the Second only applies to muskets.

Are we to believe that all the amendments are this way? That freedom of speech or press only applies to a quill and ink? That the Third or Fourth Amendments only apply to log cabins? That is a very narrow-minded view of one of the greatest documents ever written.

Bartlesville gun dealers haven’t seen an uptick in gun sales following the tragedies in Orlando, Dallas or overseas.

“I didn’t see any upsurge at all in long guns,” Mike Miller, owner of Bartlesville Shooting Supply Inc, said. However, he has sold several handguns to peole for self-defense.

Miller said his gun wholesaler reported it “immediately” sold out of MSR’s or AR15s after the Orlando nightclub shooting. Most of the sales went to buyers on the East and West Coasts, and in Florida.

An intruder, or in Massachusetts, three intruders, attempt to break into a house in broad daylight. The homeowner calls police and demands that the intruders leave. They continue to pound on the door. One breaks glass, the other breaks the door handle. Both homeowners shoot through the door, and one intruder in each case dies. But Texas is not Massachusetts. Instead of being charged with first degree murder, the homeowner is congratulated.

How Much More do They Expect us to Compromise on Gun Rights?

I always hear gun control proponents ask, “Why won’t the pro-gunners compromise? Why won’t they give into something?” Are you kidding? Do you have any idea how long it takes to get a suppresser for my gun, so that if God forbid there’s ever a home invasion and I have to shoot the intruder I don’t blow my eardrums out?

Since the time the Second Amendment was written pro-gunners have been compromising. We went from arms to only owning semi-auto handguns and rifles while the government gets to play with drones.

 QUOTES TO REMEMBER
Reporters today are far removed from America's founding values and are alarmed and contemptuous of gun owners as dangerous lower classes. — HENRY ALLEN, WASHINGTON POST
