Stand Your Ground lethal force laws deepen disparities in the legal system and disproportionately justify the use of violence by people who are white and male against people who are not.

Undoubtedly President Trump ruffles feathers, but I voted for him in 2016 for that reason. He is a results kind of guy, delivering on his promises in extraordinary ways and in particular, by championing the constitutional rights of law-abiding gun owners across our country.

Yesterday was one of those watershed moments of history that set out in stark relief why we and the cause of liberty are in such dire straits. You try to remain optimistic in these times. However, one of the dangers of knowing too much about the past is that it’s too easy to see how events will accelerate.

We’re seeing blatant censorship at the macro and micro levels, with a news conference of America’s Frontline Doctors being suppressed while we were suspended from Twitter like many others. Censorship is akin to the victor in war writing the history books.

A panel of legal experts is warning that the City of Louisville needs to take legal measures to prevent further action by militia groups, including right-wing militias such as the “Three-Percenters” and the NFAC, a new national Black militia.

“This is not protest in America,” Mary McCord said referring to the convergence of opposing militias in Louisville Saturday.

New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District Independent candidate Martin Weber is vowing to preserve the spirit and legality of the Second Amendment. The seat is currently held by Democrat Andy Kim.

“The Second Amendment needs to be defended for the law-abiding citizens,” said Weber. “When you look at many gun owners here in the 3rd District, you see people who are hunters and those who use them for sport and recreation.”

The candidate does recognize the calls by advocates to ensure there are reasonable regulations and background checks.

Following contentious voting this past December, the BOS declared Rappahannock County a Second Amendment Sanctuary.

State Sen. Stephanie Bice launched a television ad Wednesday for her congressional campaign accusing Republican runoff rival Terry Neese of not sharing her support of gun rights.

“You have the right to defend yourself, but at Terry Neese’s company, you can’t,” Bice says in the ad, which shows a picture of the office door to Neese Personnel bearing a sticker that says "No Firearms Allowed on Premises."

“Good people can’t protect themselves because Terry Neese doesn’t support gun rights,” Bice says in her first ad for the Aug. 25 runoff primary.

But with the mayor of a major U.S. city warning that “tyranny and dictatorship” have already arrived on the streets – in the shape of unidentified federal troops using questionable tactics – militia groups appear reluctant to throw their lot in with protesters. In fact, many have been supporting government action to suppress peaceful demonstrators.

The voluntary manslaughter case against Tai Chan, the former Santa Fe deputy who is accused of killing his partner in 2014, was dismissed Wednesday.

Chan faced two previous murder trials which ended with hung juries.

A spokesperson for the district attorney said the judge agreed with Chan’s defense motion that the case took “six years” and violated his right to a speedy trial and due process. The judge also sanctioned the prosecutors for engaging in prosecutorial misconduct over “scheduling” matters, she said.

“Enough is enough,” Schmitt said in the video. “As Missouri’s chief law enforcement officer, I simply will not stand by while a Missouri law is being ignored. That’s why I am entering this case and seeking the dismissal of this case,” Schmitt said. “A political prosecution, such as this one, would have a chilling effect on Missourian’s exercising the right of self-defense. The law is clear and must be protected.”

Perhaps the time has come for the gun rights advocates of America to sign up with “well organized militias,” because the feds are coming after us. Note the unwelcome federal agents sent into the streets of Portland. These federal police have kidnapped and detained peaceful U.S. citizens. This is something we would expect of Russia or China not the USA. Now the president is threatening to send more federal agents into Chicago and other cities. These circumstances are the reason for the Second Amendment.

It should be clear to everyone that the prevalent availability of guns in America makes it impossible to disarm the police. The legal foundation for this policy rests on the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. When this country was established, there were 13 original states: New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. The map of the United States in 1776 did not look at all like it does today.

“We are obviously disappointed with the first-term Monroe County prosecutor’s evaluation of this case and her unfortunate decision to charge Sean Purdy while choosing not to file criminal charges against his trespassing assailant.

It appears entire portions of an exhaustive law enforcement investigation (including physical evidence and credible eyewitness testimony) were ignored in reaching that decision. Legitimate and evidence-based charging recommendations by law enforcement officers also went ignored. That is troubling.

What is the ultimate backcountry rifle and cartridge? Our outlook on the world often tends to be in black and white, and this is especially true when it comes to rifles, cartridges, and other tools of the hunting trade that so many of us have a great passion for.

When searching for the ultimate rifle and cartridge for the backcountry, it would be foolish to suggest that any single selection universally trumps the rest.

The polls show Donald Trump losing to Joe Biden by a wide margin, and yet the president seems to have more support than many might think. And I’m not just talking about Americans afraid of being “cancelled” if they express a politically incorrect opinion such as support for Trump—although a recent poll by the Cato Institute did reveal that 62 percent of Americans are now fearful of publicly expressing their opinions.

NFAC has one answer. By parading with military-style rifles of the sort that Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, wants to ban, the militia’s members show they are prepared to exercise the Second Amendment rights that gun control supporters typically portray as a fetish of white conservatives.
