"You have, no doubt, heard that the illegal alien amnesty bill died in the Senate last week. The determination and ultimate success of the American people on this issue proves that American activism and the spirit of liberty lives on in the United States today. And gun owners made a big contribution to our overall success."

"Gun owners, by and large, understand what it means to have our rights taken away. We know full well that the government can and will violate our God-given rights, acknowledged in the U.S. Constitution, if the American people do not know or care about the issue. As such, gun owners have become politically aware and have taken direct action to prevent our rights from further erosion. ..." ...

"The nomenclature C3 in the Sigarm's name GSR C3 equates to 'Compact Concealed Carry' and Sig's GSR 1911 pistol fits the billing pretty much right on the money. For the 1911 haters, there is no joy in Mudville, as this pistol works. Whoever set the design in motion here knows 1911 pistols and Sig has presented an excellent working rendition of John Browning's masterpiece on a reduced scale." ...

"I first shot the PX4 Storm Subcompact as a preproduction prototype. My first impression was, shall we say, underwhelming. I looked at it lying on the table like it was a fat envelope in the mailbox with an attorney's return address, asking myself 'Do I have to?' As soon as I glommed my size Large hands onto the grip, my attitude started changing. Many subcompact guns are hard to shoot. Some are abusive. After using up all the ammo our hosts would admit to having on hand, my hand felt none the worse for wear. I mentally filed away a note: Here is a subcompact gun that is fun to shoot." ...

"The pistols had hardly cooled after the murder of 32 innocents at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in April when the old debate broke out: Does the Second Amendment prohibit government interference with the right of individuals to keep weapons for hunting and self-defense?"

"... While the National Rifle Association, and its opponents, are equally certain that the [Second] amendment protects — and does not protect — hunters, it is fatuous to hold a dogmatic view. As constitutional text goes, the Second Amendment may take the prize as the most incoherent provision of the document." ...

"With the upcoming holiday, lets look at what it might mean to some people…a day off with pay, just a day off, family, friends, cookouts, reunions or just a day to lounge and watch the fireworks. As for me, I think of our Constitution, our founding fathers, our Bill of Rights, our military men and women who are performing their duties to protect our freedom."

"'FREEDOM'. We say it often, exclaiming our rights by the Constitution and Bill of Rights, but is it really free? Daily, there are people who are ready, willing and able to chip away at our most basic freedoms as guaranteed by the 1st and 2nd Amendments to the Constitution, and it is these people who we must fight against. ..." ...

"As you know, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is heading a national cabal of anti-gun mayors called 'Mayors Against Illegal Guns.'"

"The main objective of this coalition is to repeal the Tiahrt Amendment. This critically important legislation protects the privacy rights of law-abiding gun owners, the safety of law enforcement officers, and the integrity of criminal investigations by preventing inappropriate and public release of confidential firearm trace data except in the course of a bona fide criminal investigation."

"Law enforcement has been steadfast in joining NRA in support of preserving the Tiahrt Amendment. Both the BATFE and the Fraternal Order of Police ... strongly support keeping this sensitive data private." ...
