Liberals Unable To Pass Background Checks Necessary To Buy The Guns They’ll Need To Take Guns Away From Law-Abiding Gun Owners

WASHINGTON DC (AP) – While all the major Democrat candidates agree that, if elected, they will implement some sort of gun control legislation as a stepping-stone to the eventual confiscation of all registered firearms, a new study shows a major flaw in this plan. Specifically, liberals will need to buy a lot of guns if they want to force law-abiding citizens to surrender their weapons, but the vast majority of the liberals who would be doing the confiscating would be unable to pass the background check required to purchase a firearm.

[It's satire, folks.]

But, before Elmer Keith invented the 44 Magnum for its stopping power, there was the 44 Special and Steinel Ammunition is including their 44 S&W Special short barrel formula in 200 gr. Gold Dot hollow point bullets in their July holiday promotion for concealed carry civilian customers.

As a self-defense instructor, I teach civilians and law enforcement about situational awareness, use-of-force levels, hands-on tactics, and how to use both lethal and less-lethal tools. If you are in the industry that I am, or simply watch the news, you know the name George Zimmerman.

A man by the name of Trayvon Martin lost his life that cold Sunday night on the 26th of February 2012. The news spread across the nation like a wildfire in California. The news reported that a young black boy was murdered by a “white man”. As the dust settled, that turned out NOT to be the truth. Adding fuel to the flame, President Obama made the statement that “If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon…”

Why Have Civil Liberties-Loving Liberals Become Anti-Gun and Anti-Free Speech?

What does being anti-gun rights have to do with leftist politics? I mean really think about it objectively. When I was a kid growing up —in a very liberal area— both Democrats and Republicans owned guns for target shooting, hunting, and self-defense. It didn’t seem as much a left-right issue. So, why the decline over the past few decades in Democrat support for gun rights? Not all that long ago, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) received an A rating from the NRA.

An Alabama district attorney said Wednesday she is dropping charges against a woman who was indicted for manslaughter after she lost her fetus when was shot during a fight.

Marshae Jones was arrested last week after a grand jury concluded she intentionally caused the death of her fetus by initiating a fight, knowing she was pregnant.

Jones was five months pregnant when 23-year-old Ebony Jemison shot her in the stomach during a December argument over the fetus's father, authorities said.

Even those who question or reject the existence of the Creator can embrace natural rights; they can accept that our exercise of human reason leads us all to make similar claims. Rights are essentially claims made against others, including the government. These claims — free speech, free association, free exercise or nonexercise of religion, self-defense, privacy, property ownership and fair treatment from the government, to name a few — are rights that we all exercise without giving a second thought to the fact that they are natural and come from within us.

Ed.: Happy Independence Day, friends!

To this end, since both the Democrats and Republicans have refused to stand for our values, for the people of Idaho, and our children, I encourage Idahoans to run as and support third-party or independent candidates on the values of: peace in our time, bodily autonomy, health freedom, drug decriminalization, justice reform, food freedom, right to self-defense and the defense of others, government transparency, right to petition in the absence of responsible governance and multiple use access to public lands and their management in perpetuity for future generations.

In the Los Angeles Times, Patrick McGreevy reports that gun rights groups have filed suit in the Southern District of California to challenge California’s law barring the sale of long guns to persons under age 21. Last year, the Legislature expanded the existing ban of the sale of handguns to persons under 21 to also include rifles and shotguns in SB 1100(Portantino). Here is the legal filing.

Last week, from the Democratic primary debate stage, former Vice President Joe Biden said we were the enemy.

“Our enemy is the gun manufacturers, not the NRA, the gun manufacturers,” Biden said.

Not a single candidate on stage that night, or the night before, condemned the remark. Their silence is tacit agreement. Not a single candidate had the courage to name the violent criminals as the problem or the fortitude to stand up to those who prey upon the vulnerable in our society. Instead, they are blaming us as an industry and the law-abiding gun owners we serve.

“Assault weapons have become the firearm of choice in too many mass shootings. We don’t have to live this way — those guns only belong on battlefields. Do you support a ban AND buy-back of every weapon of war in America?” Rep. Swalwell (D-CA) asked.

The overwhelming majority of the respondents to the poll weren’t buying the gun grabbing proposal. Off those who participated in the poll, 79% were against the idea of an Australia–style government gun buyback program, and 21% of the poll respondents favored the proposal. A total of 119,342 people voted.
