All visitors, including hikers, at Colorado State Wildlife Areas must now hold a valid hunting or fishing license for entrance. The requirement went into effect July 1 and received mixed reviews. Some readers on the Greeley Tribune Facebook page called the move “unfair,” since hikers are neither hunting nor fishing. Another commenter said the decision is “pure f—ing greed.”

A man who was stabbed and seriously wounded on Thursday night in Johnstown’s Hornerstown section has been charged with assault and related offenses, Cambria County District Attorney Gregory Neugebauer said on Friday evening. The incident happened at around 8:15 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Cedar Street, according to Cambria County 911 dispatchers.

#7 shot is primarily used for target shooting, clays and medium-sized birds like grouse, partridge, quail, and snipe.
