But today, gun prohibitionists and dictatorships are using the United Nations to promote the firearms policies of Hitler and Hirohito: First, preventing aid to victims to genocide and tyranny. And second, obliterating the moral distinction between free governments, which are founded on the consent of the governed, and dictatorships, whose victims have the God-given right to remove them by force of arms. |

In an alleged "gun free" country like the UK, seems a lot of incorrect hype about "stun gun" use in the US is being slung about... Why do they need these items anyway, firearms are prohibited for self-defense in the UK, their poiticians promised violent crime would cease after the gun ban... |

An Elgin man who was carrying a 9mm handgun in a backpack on the Illinois Prairie Path won't be prosecuted for carrying a concealed weapon, DuPage County authorities said Tuesday. The felony weapons charge against 40-year-old John Horstman had been viewed by legal experts and gun owners groups as a test case of the state's convoluted laws on carrying and transporting guns.

S.1355 - Children's Firearm Access Prevention Act

Senator Durbin (D-IL) has introduced S.1355 "to prevent children from having access to firearms."
This bill would make it a crime to keep a loaded gun, or even an unloaded gun and ammunition stored separately, in a home where a juvenile resides, if the gun isn't locked up. If a juvenile gets the gun and hurts someone with it, the penalty to the gun owner would be a fine up to $4,000 and 1 year in prison.

AMA has been quietly anti-gun for years, and their new director recently declared open war on gun rights.
Well, it seems AMA gets about half their income from selling a monopoly database of Medicare and Medicaid billing codes. Some people are starting to protest that monopoly. Good idea!
Most of us know pro-gun doctors. You wondered why the AMA doesn't care when these doctors quit? AMA doesn't need their money! Let's change that.
