Initially called the “Super-Thirty,” it was designed to hunt African plains animals – all of which it can harvest except the very largest. The first .30 caliber magnum to hit the commercial market, .300 H&H Mag ammo has also been successfully employed for elk hunting, as well as taking moose and other large game animals in North America. |

The poll, taken Aug. 5, follows an earlier survey that revealed a majority likely voters think mob violence that has continued in some cities for weeks, such as Portland, Ore., is caused mostly by criminals taking advantage of protests against the police.

Rep. Greg Gianforte has written a letter to the head of the National Rifle Association, inviting the gun rights' organization to relocate to Montana after attorneys general in New York and Washington, D.C. filed a lawsuit to dissolve it. Gianforte, Montana’s sole member in the House and a Republican candidate for governor, said he is a lifetime NRA member and was frustrated “to see far-left activists and elected officials in New York, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. attack the NRA and law-abiding gun owners across America who value our Second Amendment rights.” |

When people stop visiting and start developing in wildlife territory, it influences a predator’s domain. Nevada’s bobcats, coyotes, cougars and bears are all predators. By building trophy homes up where the wildlife roam, their chances for survival diminish. We reduce their bedding areas, and cut off food and water sources while adding ourselves to the menu.

The biggest drawback to compact pistols has always been capacity. Sure, you could argue that grip size and overly-ambitious recoil are biggies, too, but folks who have gotten into real world defensive shooting situations typically complain less about those two and more about how they wished they had had more rounds, even if they didn’t run dry.

Gun control is pushed endlessly by the left as a way to decrease violence and save lives, but many people aren’t aware of the gun control movement’s sordid, racist history. In this Daily Caller Productions video, black gun rights activists explain how gun control efforts evolved from “Slave Codes” that banned slaves from owning weapons before the Civil War to “Black Codes” that targeted freed slaves for disarmament to today’s gun control measures that leave majority-black inner-city residents vulnerable to criminal predators. |
