From January through July of this year, Americans bought an estimated 12,141,032 guns. This is just less than the 13,199,172 likely gun sales that occurred in all of 2019.

These numbers are based on likely sales from the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s (NSSF) adjusted background check numbers—taken from raw data from the FBI’s National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS).

Michael Von Flatern and Ogden Driskill, former Speaker of the Wyoming House of Representatives Tom Lubnau and others are rebuking the claims and question the motivations of Wyoming Gun Owners following a steady flurry of social media posts targeting them and other politicians. The campaign has only been elevated by the upcoming Aug. 18 primary election.

The pick, however, comes with tremendous baggage. While the New York Times immediately moved to frame her as a “pragmatic moderate,” the facts do not line up with this narrative. According to GovTrack, she is listed as the 4th most progressive member of the Senate. Like Biden, she favors the banning of fracking and a full-scale assault on the Second Amendment.

The Scott County Board of Supervisors is sending a message that it remains in strong support of the Second Amendment.

The board passed its second resolution supporting the Second Amendment at its monthly meeting last week. The board had been discussing the idea of another resolution for a couple of months, but decided to wait and vote on it after July 1, when new gun control legislation went into effect at the state level.

Today, alongside this rights-based narrative, a parallel narrative exists that is perpetuated by the U.S. gun industry as part of a multifaceted effort to increase gun sales. This so-called gun-rights narrative manipulates the ideals of human rights to establish not only an inalienable right to life but also an unfettered right to armed self-defense to protect oneself from any perceived threat of harm. This narrative hinges on fear and the need to defend oneself and loved ones from unknown but ever-present threats through whatever means necessary and without regard to the rights of others. It is grounded by the false claim that the most effective means of self-preservation involves using a firearm.

The truck was also wholly stopped when the men confronted the driver. No one in the truck appeared to threaten any of the protestors.

AmmoLand reached out to Indy10 for clarification. A spokesperson for the group said one of the men that pulled his gun, which is only known as ‘Icon,’ said he was afraid for his life because the driver revved their engine and had tinted windows.

When AmmoLand pushed the group for an explanation of why the group would run after the truck if they were afraid for their lives, the spokesperson didn’t answer and stopped responding to all our questions.

On Tuesday afternoon, Joe Biden officially selected Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) as his running mate for the 2020 election. It's a historic moment—if chosen, Harris would not only become the first female vice president, she'd also become the first Black woman and first person of Indian descent to hold the position. Her nomination is a milestone in itself.

Now that we have an official selection, it's time to get to work and focus on where the candidates stand on key issues, starting with gun control.

One of the techniques anti-Second Amendment extremists use to try to get their agenda pass is to try to couch infringements on Second Amendment rights as making the country safer and more secure. We can see a classic example of this in HR 3569, the Making America Safe and Secure Act of 2019.

This legislation was introduced by Representative Joe Kennedy III (D-MA). The Kennedy family has, over the decades, worked against our right to keep and bear arms. In one sense, this crusade is understandable – President John F. Kennedy (a NRA member) and Senator Robert F. Kennedy were both killed by the misuse of firearms.

South Carolina attorney general Alan Wilson is asking a state circuit court to make a decision regarding his lawsuit against the city of Columbia, S.C. over its repeated, flagrantly unconstitutional and extra-legal attempts to ban firearms within its city limits.

Specifically, Wilson is asking the court to issue a “judgment on the pleadings” – meaning he believes the case he has brought against the city is so strong the court does not need to waste time hearing oral arguments.

“The state respectfully requests that this court grant this motion and declare these ordinances invalid and unenforceable,” Wilson’s motion argued.

Americans’ Second Amendment rights will be front and center in the November election as 2020 presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden made it official, announcing U.S. Senator Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) as his running mate. The pick means Democrats will nominate one of the most anti-gun presidential tickets in modern history, placing Sen. Harris a heartbeat from the presidency.

She will also swing a heavy hammer to forge a platform that will punish the firearm industry and quash gun rights.

In Chicago September 2018, Aaargo Jay and I met at the Gun Rights Policy Conference. He told me that his son is a big fan of my GunGram videos! We saw each other again at the GPRC in Phoenix in 2019 and Aaargo Jay asked if I would come to Milwaukee to film a show during the DNC in July 2020. How could I say no? But the DNC was canceled due to the virus that shall not be named. I had some personal business to tend to in Illinois, so I set up a date with Aaargo then contacted Rhonda Ezell to see if she wanted to join us. So I picked up Rhonda and headed to Wisconsin.
