"In 1946 the Army issued rifles to American Legion Post 38 of Overton,
and the post has used them ever since to fire volleys of blanks
during the funerals of veterans."

"...the Army...wants those weapons...to be stored under conditions so onerous that post officials feel both unable and unwilling to meet them."

Rabbis Differ with Lieberman on Abortion Issue

The Democrats want to hold Lieberman up as some special Jew, but the guy doesn't even obey Jewish law. (Not to mention the fact that he's among the Stupid Jews of the world who want to disarm people just like Hitler did because they are too dumb to learn from history.) Lieberman's religion says you cannot kill a child, and he has voted against on ban on (in support of) partial birth (you know, where it's a baby half way out and they bore a hold in its head and suck the brains out) abortions.

"A deranged former correction officer with an arsenal of guns shot and wounded four city police officers in Brooklyn yesterday before cops killed him after a tense six-hour standoff, authorities said."

Amazing. Didn't he know there were LAWS against that? Maybe nobody told him that stuff was illegal? Yeah, that must be it, because "laws stop criminals", right?

Too hilarious! "The member organizations of the Common Sense Gun Laws: An American Value
coalition today condemned the National Rifle Association for hosting a reception honoring about 50 Democrats for their refusal to pass meaningful gun violence prevention legislation."

The poor things. They just can't deal with the fact that some of their own party see how WRONG they are! :-)

These socialist mayors with their Hitler-approved policies have the audacity to issue a press release saying there have been 4,001 gun deaths since Columbine, when no official numbers have been released. What a joke.

They are definitely showing us one thing with this "news" release: IT IS TIME FOR GUN RIGHTS GROUPS TO UNITE!!

Geoff Metcalf rings out once again as a Patriot more committed to speaking the truth than kissing up, to telling it like it is rather than how he wishes it was, and to being a Leader. Ya gotta love this man.

He's going to be starting the next drive to get an RKBA clause written into the state constitution, and this time, let's all help!!

"While there's no doubt that Mr. Gore went to Vietnam when others of his generation, like President Clinton, chose educational deferments, conscientious-objector status or fled to Canada or Sweden, there are questions about the nature of his Vietnam experience."

"A normal tour of duty in Vietnam was 12 months. Mr. Gore spent less than five months there. [141 days] He received an early release from the Army — and a ticket out of Vietnam — on May 22, 1971, to go to divinity school."

 QUOTES TO REMEMBER
By calling attention to a well-regulated militia for the security of the Nation, and the right of each citizen to keep and bear arms, our Founding Fathers recognized the essentially civilian nature of our economy. Although it is extremely unlikely that the fears of governmental tyranny, which gave rise to the second amendment, will ever be a major danger to our Nation, the amendment still remains an important declaration of our basic military-civilian relationships, in which every citizen must be ready to participate in the defense of the country. For that reason I believe the second amendment will always be important. --JOHN F. KENNEDY
