Police are looking for the person who robbed a Clark gas station on the city's east side last night.
Police say a man approached the clerk at the Atwood Avenue Clark with a handgun around 9:40 p.m., demanding cash.
The robber took off with the cash on foot. Police describe the suspect as an African American man in his 20s with a dark complexion, about 6 feet tall, 185-200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, dark T-shirt, police said. |

A Salt Lake City boy, 14, accidentally shot himself with a handgun Monday while attempting to holster the gun in his pants with his finger on the trigger. The victim's 15-year-old friend found the gun under his uncle's bed near 700 South and 300 East, where the shooting occurred. The boy is hospitalized in stable condition, according to Salt Lake City police. The uncle, who admitted owning the gun, was arrested on a felony warrant for false information on a federal weapons application.
