A driver fired in self-defense when he killed an aggressive driver who pointed a gun at him during a road rage altercation, authorities in South Carolina said.

Investigators determined the unidentified shooter acted lawfully, even though he did not immediately report the incident, Spartanburg County Sheriff Chuck Wright said during a news conference while outlining the events that led to the Aug. 5 death of Travis Antonio Draper, 41, of Pacolet.

“We’ve called everyone we know asking if there is any way or any reason how we can charge somebody in this case,” Wright said, according to news outlets. “There is no code of laws that I’ve been made aware of that we can charge this young man. He did this in self-defense. ‘Do I like it? No.’”

David Chipman, President Joe Biden’s pick to lead the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), failed to disclose to the Senate Judiciary Committee multiple interviews and events he has participated in since 2012.

In one undisclosed talk from 2019 titled “Can the Right to Bear Arms Coexist with Gun Control?” Chipman described how he is different from other people in law enforcement because his views are not “typical” of conservative white men, whom he claimed run departments and agencies.

Meet the Person Who’s Running Biden’s War On Guns and Second Amendment Rights

The President has become a puppet, who has to be led – sometimes by the hand – to waiting news cameras, where he stumbles through speeches that someone else has obviously written.

So, who is pulling Biden’s strings?

In my humble opinion, in the Biden-Harris Administration’s war against our guns, former Obama national security advisor and UN Ambassador, Susan Rice, who now serves as Biden’s domestic policy advisor, is clearly calling the shots. Rice has a staunch anti-gun pedigree, coupled with direct access to Biden – and Obama – and the means and ability to orchestrate the war against our God-given, constitutional rights.

"If it's false for Biden to make this claim, then it is also false for Cuomo to make this claim," said Francis Brennan, a spokesperson for Stefanik. Brennan called the tweet "100% accurate."

So who’s right, Cuomo or Stefanik? Stefanik is closer to accurate, we found.

NC: Court decisions should prompt General Assembly on Second Amendment

The Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals made Second Amendment history in July by expanding the right of those under 21 to purchase handguns. While the ruling doesn’t take immediate effect, and the Supreme Court may ultimately decide the issue, the federal court has jurisdiction over North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina, Maryland, and West Virginia. In 1968 a federal law restricted licensed handgun sales to anybody under 21.

When it comes to an inherent right enshrined in the U.S. Constitution, the court refused “to relegate either the Second Amendment or 18- to 20-year-olds to a second-class status.”

The Mexican government is planning to sue U.S. gun manufacturers due to the number of illegal guns in Mexico. Certainly, this is in collaboration with the progressive Democrats that despise the ability for law abiding Americans to protect themselves. This is also a confession of the Mexican government’s inability to govern. But instead of looking introspectively to determine why this problem exists and how to fix it, it is easier to blame others, especially when payday appears to be near.

Gov. Henry McMaster signed the Open Carry with Training Act in Greenville Friday, which will allow South Carolinians to carry concealable weapons, like a handgun, openly with a training permit. The bill was originally passed by the General Assembly in May.

Rep. Bobby Cox, R-Greenville, who was the lead sponsor for the bill, said that the bill was being signed in Greenville because it's a pro-Second Amendment area. "It's an area that's really about responsible about gun ownership as well as exercising their Second Amendment constitutional right," he told The Greenville News.

Calling it a hallmark day for gun rights in South Carolina, a bevy of elected officials ceremonially signed the state’s open carry with training legislation Aug. 13 at a Greenville gun store ahead of the law’s implementation Aug. 15.

The bill also moved South Carolina onto the growing list of states that have proclaimed themselves Second Amendment sanctuaries against what Gov. Henry McMaster said in remarks at the signing was possible future federal overreach to seize firearms.
