"Fulfilling a campaign promise he made to gun owners, Mayor George Wuerch has proposed a way for Anchorage citizens to legally buy machine guns, short-barreled shotguns, silencers and hand grenades."
"I do not like the federal regulation," Wuerch said at a press conference Friday. "It's another encroachment on the right to buy and sell arms."
Nice to see someone who understands Reality taking a stand. Good show! |

"Frank Hernandez Cabrera was spending an uneventful evening at home, he told police, when two men knocked on his door and demanded that he hand over 'the girl' or they would kill him."
"When the men returned to Cabrera's west Phoenix home later that night and did something to shatter his window, Cabrera came out with a long gun and opened fire, fatally wounding one of them, police said."
May get charged. Not smart running outside and opening fire. Let 'em come inside, THEN fire. |

Cops defending the program. Good for the boys...
"When we were growing up, we were told to find a cop if we needed help. Kids aren't told that anymore. All kids see anymore is cops shooting and killing bad guys on TV," Hill said. "They don't see cops in a realistic aspect. We're trying to get a good aspect back." |

Wanna bet he walks?
"Accidental discharge" is called INVOLUNTARY MANSLAUGHTER, unless you're a federal agent.
They paint the victim out to be a horrible drug lord, of course. |

"As was the case for Republicans gathered for their national convention in Philadelphia a few weeks ago, protesters have also gathered to demonstrate against Democrats during their shindig in Los Angeles this week.
"But for the party that never met a gun control law it didn't like -- except for those that "don't go far enough" -- I wonder: did anyone else find it ironic as hell that hundreds of riot-clad and armed police officers are protecting Democratic convention delegates this week?" |

Although this is far far far from politically correct, the audience who received this speech got fired up and kicked Hitler's butt, so remember that when you read it. It's a piece of history.
The intro to the speech is also fantastic in its scope and reach. |

The DC Chief of Police admits that cops can't protect citizens. However, instead of allowing people to defend themselves, the Chief favors a crackdown on activities that "create the atmosphere for homicides." This raises questions about how much more regulation of our lives the police chief favors. DC already has some of the strictest gun control laws on the books... and they aren't working. |
