"Perata, D-Oakland, announced he'll introduce legislation to repeal a state law that the California Supreme Court cited last week in dismissing a lawsuit" against gun manufacturer Navegar, Inc.

"'They (the court) said we have a problem, and we're going to fix that problem,' Perata vowed."

This is the same little maggot who has a concealed carry permit but refuses to help citizens have the same access to self-defense. Hanging is too good for him.

"McMann's Roadrunner Inc. and gun maker Glock are not responsible for three killings at a local Pizza Hut, a judge rules."

"Borek found the lawsuit "devoid of any allegations that establishes the special kind of relationship between either Glock or McMann's to control the action of (the killers) or protect (the victims)."

"The risk of gun related crime is a general risk faced by all members of society. Glock and McMann's actions did not increase this general risk," Borek wrote."

In a place where it's not so easy to obtain a gun to defend yourself from mobs of violent people:

"...there are now 25 farms completely trashed and looted in the Mhangua area, nothing left."

"One of the looters said that they have been told by minister Chombo that everything on a white farm belongs to the people, they can take what they like but they mustn’t cause bloodshed."

"Police say suspects are specifically targeting locations where drugs and cash are available...armed with assault rifles and pump masks, black batting gloves...bulletproof vests...looking for money and drugs."

Sounds like they are talking about the DEA. :-)

But no...

"They're criminals, and police believe they're responsible for at least 12 home invasions in Savannah and Chatham County in recent months."

Have your shotgun handy, and know how to use it.

"The California Supreme Court deserves a 21-gun salute for its profound wisdom in throwing out a suit against gun-makers last week. Based partially on a 1983 law, the court held manufacturers can't be sued for the criminal misuse of their merchandise."

Finally, at least one tyrant in a Black Robe has some sense!! It may not last long though..... it's the only thing that is standing in the Socialist's way!

Business owner defends self from teenage robber. Two things to note:

#1. Anti-gun, anti-self defense bias of media in choice of headline.

#2. Reality of how some media reports self defense occurences.

Two officers on leave in SWAT case.

More on the Lubbock SWAT fiasco.

In our inner cities, where firearms are outlawed, only outlaws are armed. When our "philosopher kings" sit back and do nothing, this is the tyranny and terror of "gun control." —CHARLTON HESTON
