Toward that end, they’ve just come out with the Survivor ammo can that’s perfect for subterranean implantation. They don’t give the dimensions, but say it will hold six hundred rounds of .45 ACP. That’s gotta be what…almost 1400 rounds of .22lr? Just make sure you don’t forget where you dig that hole. Press release after the jump . . ." ... |

"In my time as a writer for TTAG, I’ve toured my share of manufacturing facilities. From the small-time operations like the scrappy pre-Freedom Group AAC (when it was still under Kevin Brittingham) which looked only a little larger than my parent’s garage, to the sprawling operation that is Leupold & Stevens’ operation in Beaverton, Oregon. After you see a couple, they all start to look the same. The same machines, the same floor layout, the same processes…it gets hard to distinguish what makes one manufacturer any better than the others. But for FN Manufacturing (FNM), the plant that makes FN guns in the U.S., the difference is something they shout from the rooftops: their people . . ." ... |

"Back at the beginning of the month, Seattle Gun Rights Examiner Dave Workman revealed a 'gun control playbook,' written by three Democrat political operatives last year, to be used as a propaganda manual for furtherance of the forcible citizen disarmament agenda. Titled 'Preventing Gun Violence Through Effective Messaging,' it is remarkable in that it is very clearly a tacit acknowledgement that facts and logic are doing the gun prohibitionists no favors, and so they should rely instead on raw, ill-informed (the more ill-informed, the better) emotion." ... |

How many times have you thought, 'If it happens, I'll drop to the floor and play dead' or 'I'll charge him, I'm not going to be a victim'?" ... -------
Submitter's Note: Um, zero? Of course I check the exits when I take my seat and mentally walk through what I'll do if there is a fire, but I'm not paranoid and I don't constantly scan for "shadowy figures". This doesn't mean I am in condition White, just that I don't live my life in trembling terror.
Oh, and "charging" an active shooter is a great way to become a victim; if you have a clear line of fire just shoot the S.O.B. |

As nightfall does not come all at once, neither does oppression. In both instances, there is a twilight.
