The Washington Post usually turns the simplest gun-related stories into anti-gun diatribes. This time they have printed two stories about gun thefts without the usual anti-gun bias. How unusual!
Please find the authors' email addresses on the Washington Post site and send them a nice email.
These stories also show how civilian gun control will not keep guns out of the wrong hands.
here's the second one:

Democratic delegates boo the Boy Scouts of America By Valerie Richardson - THE WASHINGTON TIMES
"LOS ANGELES — Under normal circumstances, jeering at children is the sort of behavior that might get a delegate sanctioned, if not booted from the convention altogether. But anyone who expected the Democratic leadership to scold the Boy Scouts of America bashers is attending the wrong convention."
"We do it for the children!"

Gun Fight - Bush, Gore Split on Firearm Issues By Peter Dizikes and Julia Campbell - ABCNews.com
Crime rates have dropped all over America, but the debate over guns has never been stronger.
"Al Gore, the Democratic presidential candidate, believes new handgun purchasers should register their guns and be licensed by photo ID, ..."
"By contrast, George W. Bush, the GOP nominee, opposes government-mandated registration of all guns owned by citizens without criminal records."

A federal appeals court has decided to let a New York state court determine the legality of the negligent-marketing theory used to win the first jury verdict against the gun industry last year.
The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, in a 2-1 ruling dated Wednesday, referred the issue to the New York Court of Appeals to decide whether the theory is allowable under state law.
The case is being closely watched because at least 30 cities and municipalities have sued the gun industry... |

Quick poll, plus a message board should you wish to help save the history-ignorant, media-brainwashed people who believe you have no right to self-defense equal to that of what criminals would use against you. |

Vass was allegedly beaten so severely that the funeral director apologized to Vass' wife for not being able to clean him up better for viewing.
Lee-Ann McCormick, Vass' friend for more than 20 years, said the man she saw in the coffin didn't even resemble the man she knew.
"He was black and blue, all his teeth were kicked out, his eyes were puffy and swelled shut.
"The only recognizable part of him was his hair," she said.

"Only about three dozen of the 4,368 delegates to the Democratic National Convention showed up Wednesday for a forum sponsored by Handgun Control, Inc."
And none of them understand history or care about the rights of lawful, decent citizens to protect themselves 24/7 in a society where predatory criminals lurk. |
