A spokesman for Pax told CNSNews.com in May that the group "doesn't get involved in the politics of gun control legislation per se, but does support government control of private firearm transactions and ballistic fingerprints"
Gun Owners of America (GOA) considers Pax an organization that wants to erode gun rights and demonize gun owners. "Pax is a politically motivated organization that would rob people of the most effective means of self-defense."--John Velleco, GOA spokesman |

Does the spirit of resistance still breathe in England?
A spokesman for Gloucestershire police said: "There can be no doubt that these cameras were deliberately wrecked so we are probably looking for motorists who regularly use this stretch of road and have had enough." |

Interesting commentary on England's increasing rate of gun crime following draconian gun ownership restrictions.
"If a total, nationwide ban on the possession of firearms is supposed to curb gun crime, then why is it that the English are increasingly the victims of gun-wielding criminals?" |

There is a new forum in town, and it is designed specifically for the Militia (just follow the link). While it is akin to the forums here @ KABA, its focus is directly on Militia issues.
Unlike an email news group (that clogs your mail box), the High Desert Militia Discussion Boards are categorized for specific information.
Topics range from weaponry, to tactics and more. There are also two private forums for Militia Leaders only.
Stop by and check it out, you may learn something. |

Utah Gun Owners Alliance is calling for protests of a gun ban at the Utah Republican Party State Convention this Saturday.
UTGOA does not object to Vice President Cheney's visit. Our anger is directed at the party officials who invited him, and agreed to a gun ban, without consulting the Republican delegates.
Mr. Cheney was elected by gun owners. We therefore urge him to insist that the Secret Service obey Utah laws and accommodate lawful concealed carry permittees. |

Profoundly ironic. Millions of dollars are spent producing a movie about something that doesn't exist, while every effort is made to delete any evidence of something that does. Indoctrination at it's finest. One thing for sure, we can rest assured that our federal friends will have plenty of firearms on hand for the real thing. |

One victim, 35-year-old Jeffrey Barnes of Newport News VA, freed himself and chased the men, firing at least one shot from a semiautomatic handgun. ... The suspects were charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and weapons offenses. Police also seized Barnes' gun, and they are investigating why he had a firearm.
~~It should be obvious to anyone with a brain why Barnes had a gun. Self defense. Duh. |
