If you’ve never heard of Fetter 12 gauge ammo then you aren’t alone, as this is one of the more obscure ammo manufacturers on the market. Made in Russia to help supply the competitive clay shooting sports, Fetter Ammunition produces a wide variety of shotshells loaded with #7-1/2 and #8 shot for competition to 00 buckshot and slugs for home defense.

I have always had a soft spot for the M1 carbine. The ‘.30 carbine’ combines history, utility, handiness and sheer fun in a way few other long guns can match. I was excited to see a wave of surplus M1s make their way back home in the last couple of years. Every shooter should get to experience and enjoy the prolific, little long arm of the Second World War. |

The Supreme Court will hear a case this coming term challenging a federal law that prohibits individuals subject to domestic violence restraining orders from possessing firearms, which is expected to shape the future of Second Amendment law. Zackey Rahimi, the individual at the center of the case, was involved in five shootings between December 2020 and January 2021, in one instance firing shots into the air after his friend’s credit card was declined at a Whataburger, according to court documents. When police obtained a warrant to search his home, they found him in possession of a firearm, a violation of a civil protective order entered against him in February 2020 for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend. |

Gun control politicians really are coming for America’s guns. There’s no denying it after California Gov. Newsom made his proposal for a 28th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution official. Gov. Newsom wants to export strict California gun control to the rest of America. He introduced a proposal for a Right to Safety – an amendment to the U.S. Constitution that would strip Second Amendment rights from individuals and instead make the government the arbiter of which firearm “privileges” would be allowed. |

The Glock 23 Gen 4 was once one of the most popular police sidearms in the United States, but today many of these .40 S&W Glocks are hitting the secondhand market as departments return to 9mm. That means .40 S&W handguns can be had for cheap, and ammo is readily available in a caliber that is still very effective. So, you might want to check out this lot of trade-in Glock 23 Gen 4s that have been phased out of police service. |

While guys who dig CZs these days often like to think of themselves as mysterious and edgy, back in the chilliest days of the Cold War, picking up a CZ 75 was tougher than you'd think. A product initially of Communist-controlled and Moscow-allied Czechoslovakia, as we have covered dozens of times in the past, the CZ 75 first hit the market in Europe in 1975, hence the name.
