It’s a rather strange claim of the American far left that their interests are opposed to that of corporate America, because there’s virtually no evidence to support it. Quite the contrary: During the wave of Black Lives Matter rioting that took place during the early summer of 2020, American corporations marched in lockstep. Not only did they use social media to swear fealty to this political movement, but they also made massive internal changes in conformity with BLM propaganda.

Two restrictive Washington state gun control laws and a gun control tax adopted by the City of Seattle five years ago have been abject failures, according to homicide data, and should all be repealed, a major national gun rights organization says.
The Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms threw down the gauntlet after Seattle Times columnist Danny Westneat penned a report earlier in the week headlined “Seattle City Hall silent on homicide spike.”

The League of Women Voters has long understood that the proliferation of handguns and semiautomatic “assault” long guns poses a major threat to public health and safety. Since the 1990s, the LWV has worked in support of common-sense regulation of firearms within New York state and across our nation.
Poll after poll shows that the majority of Americans agree. In fact, the percentage who favor stricter gun laws is on the rise. A Pew Research Center survey last September found 60% of Americans believe our gun laws should be tightened, up from 52% in 2017. But obviously, sharp-edged partisan divisions persist, both nationally and locally. |

Manning, a U.S. Marine Corps. veteran and Purple Heart recipient, said he’s “never seen anything like it,” when asked how much sales surged when the pandemic began.
“The demographic has completely changed,” Manning said about people who bought firearms or now use the shooting range at the White Birch Armory. “Before March there were a lot of people who had an anti-firearms mentality, and were screaming for additional restrictions or bans.”
“Then COVID hits and they’re saying, ‘Oh crap, I should go buy a gun,’” Manning said. “There’s a massive number of brand new firearm owners.” |

Trump is explicitly making a similar point. "When it comes to the Second Amendment, when it comes to life, when it comes to a lot of things you people live for, if you don't have the Supreme Court and you don't have the courts on your side, you can forget it," Trump said at the Arizona rally.
Four years ago, Republicans successfully made the Supreme Court an election issue when they kept a high court seat open and candidate Trump offered voters a list of potential nominees to fill it. |

One of the non-American fact-checkers that is part of the Facebook program is the Agence France-Presse (AFP). The AFP is the world’s oldest news service, but it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t have an anti-gun agenda. The AFP tends to fact-check articles about guns and gun laws, and have quickly gained a reputation of marking post about Second Amendment as false even though they are decidely accurate. It could be that the foreign press agency doesn’t understand firearms, or that they have ulterior motives. |

An Upshur County grand jury has declined to indict a veteran in a June 18 incident that left a man dead, determining the shooting was self defense.
Matthew Gregory Harris, 36, had been charged with murder in the death of Michael Clint Moses, 45, in western Upshur County.
“While any death is a tragedy, the absolute right of self-defense including deadly force was justified in this case,” Upshur County District Attorney Billy Byrd said in a written statement.

I’ve recently become a national advocate for gun violence prevention alongside many of today’s most prominent interfaith leaders through Everytown for Gun Safety. This is an issue that informs how I vote. For readers, when they enter the voting booth, it would be good to consider what the various candidates say about guns and gun violence as a key issue. We really can save lives by encouraging responsible gun ownership and crafting laws that also protect the rights of responsible gun owners. There is a lot of good information about gun violence at Everytown’s website, as well as Moms Demand Action. |

But these three persons who self-identify as male are vociferously against hunting and guns in general. Maslov and Darwin are why these folks revisited their core beliefs. They came to me seeking advice regarding the best tool to protect their castles.
...
Nate bought a pistol with a high-capacity magazine and an integral laser and light.
Robert purchased a tactical shotgun with a 1,000-lumen tactical light and large-capacity magazine.
Cale decided he really likes shooting guns. During the past year, he has purchased several handguns, a tactical shotgun and an AR-15. |
