For more than 100 years, it has served the needs of hunters and sport shooters, law enforcement and even the military. The Leupold Mark 5HD is my current favorite long-range riflescope. Long story short, despite being priced at the lower end of premium scopes, the glass is on par with any of the top-end scopes and it has all the features a precision rifle shooter wants. In addition, it’s significantly lighter than anything else in its class.

Winchester Repeating Arms is possibly one of the most widely recognized names in the world of firearms. Throughout its history, Winchester has ridden a roller coaster of wild success and near misses. The company is famous for its lever action rifles, bolt action rifles, and shotguns, and is nearly synonymous with the Wild West. They made excellent firearms that saw action in both World Wars, but they struggled in the years between and after. |

As Vice President Kamala Harris (D) is the presumptive nominee for the Democrat Party, her team, gun-control groups and the mainstream media are working tirelessly to distance her from, incredibly, her own policy stances on our freedom. Amongst other issues, Harris is attempting to back away from her radical anti-Second Amendment stances, which are even more extreme than those of President Joe Biden (D).

After a U.S. District judge ruled in March that Minnesota’s ban on issuing concealed carry permits to adults 18-, 19- and 20-years old was unconstitutional and a three-judge panel of the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals unanimously upheld that ruling last month, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison still isn’t satisfied with allowing young adults their Second Amendment rights.

US retailers Walmart and Dick's Sporting Goods became the latest companies to shift course on guns Wednesday, announcing they were ending firearms sales to consumers under 21. Responding to the outcry over a Valentine's Day Florida school shooting that saw a 19-year-old kill 17 people, Wednesday's announcements will likely pile more pressure on US politicians to take steps to enact some kind of gun control.

All signs point to Americans continuing to reach for their wallets when it comes to practicing the right to keep and bear arms Last month was the fifth highest July on record in terms of federal background checks for likely over-the-counter gun transfers since the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s National Instant Criminal Background Check System was established over 20 years ago.
