Buxar district police arrested an Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police Ranglal posted with the Harijan police station in Begusarai district following a complaint that he sexually abused his daughter.
Police officials said on Wednesday that they have impounded Ranglal's service pistol and seized Rs 25,000 from him. Later he was sent jail.
His wife and daughter told police that he used to torture them following which they fled from his government quarter. But one of the daughters stayed back with him and was sexually abused by him for the last several years. |
