"The NRA Board of Directors set a record for the shortest fall meeting in history today, adjourning what used to be a two-day meeting at 2:45 p.m. on the first day."
"That was even shorter by a few minutes than the spring meeting at Charlotte and last January's meeting in Las Vegas."
"It wasn't a surprise; buses had already been scheduled to pick up Directors at 11 a.m. tomorrow for a fun-filled field trip to a military museum." |

Gotta watch these pukes as they weave their well-crafted disarmament web. This story is about a marauding group of armed people in another country. The report calls them "militia" so many times I lost count.
Anti-militia rhetoric is becoming all the rage in the anti-self-defense, victim disarmament press.
I don't like hearing about innocent people getting killed anywhere, but pick another word!! |

Maybe there should be an IQ test before guns can be owned? These fools wouldn't have passed it.
Idiots like this give us peaceful gun owners a bad name -- and give more ammo to the Sarah Bradys of the world. Dang!! |

"A Toronto high school principal, several students and a parent were hit in a hail of pellets fired into their midst yesterday as teens spilled out of school for lunch."
"None of the victims was seriously hurt and Toronto Police rounded up three teens in an apartment above a store across from York Memorial High School." ------ We sure are seeing more airgun-related crimes lately. It'll take 'em a while to get to those bans...but expect it; it's coming. |

"The Libertarian party supports eliminating all but the most basic of federal government, including repealing the federal income tax, ending Social Security and Medicare and shredding laws regarding guns and drugs." ------ Sounds like music to any true American's ears...but people who want the government to take care of them will have none of it. |

"THERE WAS a fatal beating on the West Coast three weeks ago." ----- By a pack of teenagers.
Why is it that these energetic lads never seem to pick on someone we'd not mind too terribly much being "wilded"?
Bad luck I guess.
In our state, it has been suggested that if attacked by 8 people who hold no weapon, we cannot "escalate" the situation by blowing a few brains out.
I don't subscribe to that theory. |

"A 4-year-old boy who marched alongside officers at a Brazilian independence day parade carrying a fake gun has sparked criticism..."
"UNICEF official Reiko Niimi condemned the episode, saying it "sends out a sad image to parents and children that playing soldier is not only acceptable but celebrated." ------ Hey, Reiko Niimi: playing soldier IS acceptable. Deal with it. The Russians are training their tikes to fire grenade launchers. Perhaps you should scold them too? |

"Last Friday I performed an almost purely ideological act: I bought a handgun."
"It was not an impulse buy. I live in New York State's Suffolk County, in the cultural penumbra of New York City. This is not a handgun-friendly locality. I had, in fact, had to wait three months for a pistol permit, having applied at county police HQ in April. An officer was assigned to my case, to investigate me. The investigation began with an interview..."

"On Tuesday, the council unanimously voted to research a local version of Project Exile, which began in Richmond, Va., and has since been endorsed by groups as diverse as the National Rifle Association and handgun-control advocacy organizations." ----- HCI/NRA tag team. Huh?
Until they state plainly that this only applies to VIOLENT people, it's dangerous. If carrying a gun in the "wrong" place could mean prison (like it can in other states), look out. |

This punk participated in executing a lawful business owner to steal his guns and cash. We should not have to pay for this trash to live for decades behind bars.
In my opinion, he should be hung by the neck until he is dead. It would save a LOT of money, and it would send a STRONG message to violent teenagers.
This society is filled with and run by very weak individuals. |

"Former Waco police officer Bill Biles has reached a $1.5 million settlement in his lawsuit against a pawn shop that sold the handgun used less than a month later to seriously injure Biles." ----- Gotta watch out for strawman purchasers... (not that this is right, but in these times, gotta be careful) |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
As civil rulers, not having their duty to the people before them, may attempt to tyrannize, and as the military forces which must be occasionally raised to defend our country, might pervert their power to the injury of their fellow citizens, the people are confirmed by the article in their right to keep and bear their private arms. — Tench Coxe in `Remarks on the First Part of the Amendments to the Federal Constitution' under the Pseudonym "A Pennsylvanian" in the Philadelphia Federal Gazette, June 18, 1789 at 2 col. 1. |
