On Friday, he was facing a $150,000 bond revocation hearing because police believed he was violating the terms of his release. The property is also the target of civil forfeiture proceedings. "I assume he's upset about the court hearing," Underwood said.
~Duh. It looks like the police and courts intend to take everything he owns and ruin his life because he grows pot. |

She received a court order that required her husband to stay away from her; the lawsuit claims that Wal-Mart knew about the court order but allowed Bryan Midgette to visit the store while his wife was working. "Wal-Mart knew or should have known that plaintiff Marsha Midgette was afraid that Bryan Midgette would cause her physical harm," the suit stated.
~How REDICULOUS is this? Did she take ANY personal responsibility for HER OWN SAFETY? But Walmart "should have known"? Forget it, lady. |

This story is an example of why the Founding Fathers gifted us with the 2nd Amendment... Note that the UN would deny "light weapons" to any potential opposition, despite proof the government is instigating violence against it's political enemies... |

Tell me why this page has a sub-heading (link) to a "special report: gun violence in America", when the report is on a stabbing case? (There is no info on how the people died in the other case, but you can bet it likely was not with a firearm, or they would have already blown that angle out of proportion!) Talk about blatant bias!... (and with all due respect, they need to worry about their own "gun violence" problem instead of badmouthin' the USA)... |

"Researched and written by award-winning reporter Jim Redden, SNITCH CULTURE reveals how politicians, law enforcement agencies, private corporations, politically-oriented non-profit organizations, and the establishment media are working together to build the most sophisticated surveillance society in history. SNITCH CULTURE traces the creation of this intelligence-gathering network from the earliest paid informants to today's DNA databases and beyond." --The Konformist
KABA NOTE: Although this book review was written in January of this year, it is ESPECIALLY pertinent right now. |

"Americans must remain informed and vigilant to preserve their sacred tradition and their liberties and prevent enactment of piecemeal gun control legislation, e.g., closing of gun shows with burdensome regulations, rationing lawful gun purchases, and the banning of the importation of certain magazines and firearm accessories, etc." --Miguel A. Faria Jr., M.D. |

JoinTogether.org -- activists who are working for campaign-finance reform are encouraging people who want stronger Congressional action on gun violence to join in the push to ban "soft money" contributions to political campaigns.
"A vote for campaign-finance reform is a vote for common-sense gun safety and common-sense public policies about guns. This is one of those times when there is a very direct connection." --Scott Harshbarger, president of DC-based "Common Cause" |
