It's a symbol of history for some, a symbol of hate for others. But it will remain a symbol of school spirit for students at Haralson County High School. Students voted Wednesday to re-paint the Confederate flag on the wall of the school's gym. Someone painted over the flag last weekend. Eighty percent of students said the flag should be re-painted, and 17 percent said it shouldn't. |

Here is a list of known school shootings since Feb. 97.
In fact, this isn't really that many shootings. Though it is sad, indeed, this is NOT an "epidemic". I'm not minimizing the badness of it all, just being real.
Someone asked me if my freedom is more important than their child's safety.
"Yes. Next question."

"Undeterred by a judge's recent decision to throw out a city lawsuit against the gun industry, Mayor Richard Daley on Tuesday renewed the attack on another front as he pushed for General Assembly approval of measures that would limit handgun purchases in Illinois to one per person per month and require gun dealers to obtain state licenses." ===== In all honestly, given everything Daley has done to tick off so many people, I'm surprised somebody hasn't slit his throat yet...

This stuff makes my skin crawl, and I have personally verified a bunch of these listed experiments on U.S. citizens myself, so I know that a great deal of it is true from personal investigation.
Let's do keep our guns, shall we? |
