Cell phone video shows protesters in Louisville, Kentucky, pressuring an armed business owner to voice support for Black Lives Matter on Friday. The Daily Mail reports that the business owner, Fadi Faouri, was standing guard outside his business because it had been firebombed during Breonna Taylor riots the night before. |

Designed by an American, made in America, and created for the United States Armed Forces – nothing encompasses the American spirit of ammunition like the .45 Auto caliber and the gun it was made for. Known as the .45 ACP, this cartridge is the all-American bullet. And over 100 years after its debut, it’s still used by both law enforcement and civilians, and remains a favorite across the U.S. |

New Jersey gun owners received a bit of good news recently when the Legislature sent the budget to Gov. Phil Murphy, and it did not contain the revenues from massive hikes the executive had earlier proposed on firearm permitting fees. Murphy had unsuccessfully proposed these Draconian fees before. Unrelenting, his 2020 budget proposal would have resulted in pistol purchase permit fees increasing from $2 to $48 and Firearms Identification card fees increasing from $5 to $98. |

New York City has a violent crime problem and accidental Mayor Bill de Blasio is shuffling deck chairs in attempts to address it. After proposing to cut $1 billion from New York City’s law enforcement budget just as crime skyrocketed, he’s throwing taxpayer money at failed policies. That includes gun buyback programs that don’t reduce violent crime and waste money. Worse, they give a false impression to the public that something effective is being done to reduce the criminal misuse of illegally possessed firearms. |

Like other journalists, I spent the bulk of this past week reviewing the writings and opinions of Amy Coney Barrett, who became President Donald Trump’s third Supreme Court nominee on Saturday. Her confirmation by the Senate will cement what the appointments of Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh already achieved: a profoundly conservative majority on the nation’s highest court for decades to come. Though Trump may lose the election this fall, his imprint on the federal courts will endure well into the second half of this century.

Like a number of other writers, I have several times stated that the first workable and widely used repeater—a revolver with multiple chambers—was the Paterson Colt of 1836. I knew of the Collier revolver, but dismissed it as a seldom-encountered novelty. In researching another point, I got off on a track that ended up with a better look at that Collier. |

Today is National Hunting and Fishing Day! The day was stablished by Congress in 1971. “National Hunting and Fishing Day provides each of us an opportunity to reflect on the importance of conservation, and for hunters, trappers and anglers, it’s one more reason to celebrate our conservation heritage and share time outdoors with others,” Game Commission Executive Director Bryan Burhans said. |

Former Wyoming Governor, Matt Mead, created the event in 2016 to expose politicians and local citizens to the shooting sports. The match also serves to attract firearm manufacturers and distributors to Wyoming, giving the local economy a boost. When an area hosts a major shooting competition, hundreds of competitors descend upon the area looking for lodging, dining, and entertainment.

The Radical Left Marxists feel cheated out of the appointment of a liberal-wing activist jurist to the High Court. They feel disgruntled on two scores: the first, because Hillary Clinton failed to secure the U.S. Presidency, and, the second, because, as a result of her defeat, she could not nominate a liberal-wing successor to the High Court to replace the seat vacated by Justice Scalia after his death—a death, by the way, that has never been adequately explained—which should anger all Americans. |

AK-100 style guns like the PSA AK-103 inhabit an unusual spot in the American firearm market. They're highly sought-after by a die-hard select group of shooters, and appreciated by those who just love AKs, but are becoming increasingly difficult to find.

Utilizing an ambidextrous approach, the skirt comes equipped with four pockets on the beltline ready to accommodate firearms up to 23-ounces. The holster pockets are, just that, pockets more or less. Using an elastic style fabric for retention, the gun nestles inside the area between the wearer and the elastic. A slightly smaller pocket sits on top of the holster with enough space for a CCW permit or similarly sized ID card -- more on this in a bit. |
