Ruger offers a different take on the micro red-dot (MRD) with its ReadyDot, as the 1X reflex sight has no built-in electronics. Instead, the MRD uses a fiber-optic coil that gathers ambient light and directs it onto the lens, creating a large, easily seen 15-m.o.a. aiming dot.

This time of year is always a little more exciting, but also makes me a little more anxious. In other words, this is far from my first rodeo.
