When discussion handgun calibers, it is inevitable that the 9mm vs 357 Magnum debate comes into the discussion.

Although the decision between the 9mm Luger and 357 Magnum really boils down to whether you prefer a revolver or semi-automatic handgun, there are specific benefits to each cartridge that could sway a shooter one direction or the other.

When I got my first 1911, a Kimber TLE Custom II, I started testing all the ammo I could get my hands on. And like many shooters, I was a little leery of using remanufactured ammunition in my brand-new piece.

These guys did neither, and one paid with his life. The argument apparently began over bad manners, and escalated into a deadly stabbing. Once outside the store, there were multiple opportunities for the ‘victim’ to get away, but that wasn’t the way this played out. I say ‘victim’ because from the video, it would seem that he wasn’t letting the other guy go and was taunting him or even trying to continue the fight.

As a resident of Florida, I have carried a concealed firearm almost everywhere for years, everywhere, except where it's specifically prohibited by law or by the policies of a specific business. Hanging in my office is a 100% American-made Gadsden flag. For quite a while I voted exclusively for Republicans, including twice for former Donald Trump, and once for Ron DeSantis, in 2018. I was formerly a lifetime member of the NRA — until I renounced my membership. I used to own an AR-15.

Sure you can keep your constitutional rights – as long as you’re ready to spend a fortune suing the government to use those rights. That’s effectively the new policy of progressive lawmakers in Springfield and Washington. With ever-increasing frequency, they pass laws or rules that range from blatantly unconstitutional to highly suspect and certain to require exhaustive litigation.

The Democrat-led city of Los Gatos, California, halted a ban on concealed carrying in sensitive places after gun rights activists threatened to sue. Michel and Associates, a law firm representing California Rifle & Pistol Association and the Second Amendment Foundation, sent a letter to town officials claiming that the concealed carry law infringes on residents’ Second Amendment rights, according to the East Bay Times. The law, which passed this summer, bans firearms from certain designated areas.

No, Joe Biden is not an illegitimate president. Those who go about espousing that categorization of him are easily dismissed and rendered irrelevant. However, Joe Biden is an unconstitutional and corrupt president, that cannot be refuted, and let me provide the evidence for that claim.

A model formerly just available to military and police customers overseas is now being imported to the U.S. for sale on the commercial market. Taurus quietly exhibited the new prototype striker-fired TS9 alongside the hammer-fired TH9 series at SHOT Show 2017, and while the TH9 has been available here in the States for a minute, the TS9 has been much more elusive. While the TS9 has seen a measure of success with various Latin American forces as well as won big contracts to become a primary sidearm of the Philippine National Police – a country with its own healthy domestic pistol manufacturer base – the pistol has been missing from Taurus USA's catalog.

Beretta’s APX line has been well received overall in the market, but the line only had regular and tactical full-sized models, plus a carry version. Now they’ve rolled out the Beretta APX A1 Compact, a size many people might prefer over the smaller carry version, as it is still concealable but handles more like a full-sized gun.

 QUOTES TO REMEMBER
America does not go abroad in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all. She well knows that by one enlisting under other banners than her own, were they even the banners of foreign independence, she would involve herself beyond the power of extrication in all the wars of interest and intrigue, of individual avarice, envy and ambition, which assume the colors and usurp the standards of freedom. — JOHN QUINCY ADAMS (1821)
