Man shoots himself in chest with nail gun

Jesus Llanez, 22, was climbing a ladder at a house under construction in Northwest Austin when the gun fired a 3 1/2-inch framing nail into his chest, said Warren Hassinger, a spokesman for Austin Emergency Medical Services. The nail, which penetrated 3 inches into Llanez's chest, lodged directly over his heart, Hassinger said.
Llanez's co-workers pulled the nail out before they drove him three blocks to an EMS station... |
