*cough-cough* "Even stronger?" Roberts's imprint, more often than not, is Chevron Deference, wherein the Court considers government actions as presumptively lawful as the starting point. That view is in diametric opposition to constitutional textualism, i.e. the law is to be interpreted as measured by the text and historical meaning of the Constitution.. |
