The father of a Castle Rock graduate, gunned down last year at Northern Arizona University, is speaking out about the loss of his son and his campaign to educate others about campus gun laws.

"If there was not a gun on campus, four boys wouldn't have been shot, their lives wouldn't have been changed and one of them is dead," said Doug Brough, father of Colin Brough.

This article is short on details. It sounds like the son was not so innocent. Several guys beating up a single person who got a gun and fought back.

In any event, don't blame law gun laws. It is very likely the shooter did not have a carry license and was in violation of one or more gun laws already on the books.

The laws are not too easy, they are too restrictive! If all guns were banned there would still be guns on campus, just in the hands of criminals !
