Now New Hampshire, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota have joined the fray and are considering bills to abolish concealed-carry permit requirements in their own states.

Ed.: Why is NRA ignoring TX? Rather than supporting CC in TX, NRA is pushing lowering (or raising) permits fees to an undetermined amount.

Why? While constitutional carry is a worthy goal, it's several steps ahead of where we are. If we get constitutional carry out there and numbers of newbies start carrying AR's, there could be an attention capturing negative accident. Investing in steady progress, providing NRA safety training along the way, and cementing present gun right gains is a feasible plan also.
