Geography Adjunct Charles Keith Smith wore a bulletproof vest and Army helmet to teach his summer school class on Aug. 1 as a visual statement of his opposition to the campus carry law as it went into effect in two-year colleges in Texas. “This is me making a statement that I do not approve of it, and I feel threatened,” Smith said in an interview after his class, GEOG 1301, Physical Geography.

Poor Little Liberal Snowflake. The vest must have been heavy and hot for summer classes. Also the helmet probably blocked his vision. Did anyone tell the guy, the vest probably wouldn't block an AK round or head shot. Probably would ruin his day. Poor little snowflake.

“This is me making a statement that I do not approve of it, and I feel threatened[.]”
Translation: “This is me stomping my feet and squalling and holding my breath ’til I turn blue because my ‘feelings’ are more important than anyone else’s fundamental rights, and I’m ENTITLED to be afraid whether that fear is irrational or not.”

And this idiot is teaching at a college level??
Is he terrified when he sees a police officer? They commit far more crimes than CWP holders.
Texas needs an immigration policy aimed toward idiot liberals from Kalifornia. |

The criminals were already carrying weapons on campus and everywhere else.
All this law does is make it legal for law abiding citizens to do the same thing the criminals and miscreants have been doing for years. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
"Secrecy is the keystone of all tyranny. Not force, but secrecy ... censorship. When any government, or any church, for that matter, undertakes to say to it's subjects, 'This you may not read, this you must not see, this you are forbidden to know,' the end result is tyranny and oppression, no matter how holy the motives. Mighty little force is needed to control a man whose mind has been hoodwinked; contrariwise, no amount of force can control a free man, a man whose mind is free. No, not the rack, not fission bombs, not anything. You cannot conquer a free man; the most you can do is kill him." --Robert A. Heinlein, "Revolt in 2100" (Pg. 68-69, Baen Books paperback edition, 1999 printing) |
