The ominous 50th anniversary of the University of Texas mass shooting from atop the 307-foot UT Tower should signal lawmakers in states like Kansas to abort plans to allow firearms on university and college campuses. Unless a new Legislature repeals the law in early 2017, next July people in Kansas will be able to carry firearms onto community college, college and university campuses, despite widespread opposition from faculty and staff. |

Not one thing stopping illegal guns on campus right now. In fact they are there. Gun control laws are useless. The belief that those with criminal intent can't illegally get guns because they will obey laws, but as everyone knows, can easily get drugs an illegal product, is moronic. This should be a self evident truth that escapes many lacking in cognitive logic. Not one person can point to a gun control law that has reduced violent crime. Not here, not in France, not in Germany, not anywhere in the world |

Another bunch of "the sky is falling" liberals that don't have the brains hat God gave an idiot.
They continually predict doom and gloom every time a state legislature removes some gun restriction, and it has never happened yet. |

Go with the data, licensed gun carriers even earn higher grades. Being gun free isn't responsible or smart. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
For, in principle, there is no difference between a law prohibiting the wearing of concealed arms, and a law forbidding the wearing such as are exposed; and if the former be unconstitutional, the latter must be so likewise. But it should not be forgotten, that it is not only a part of the right that is secured by the constitution; it is the right entire and complete, as it existed at the adoption of the constitution; and if any portion of that right be impaired, immaterial how small the part may be, and immaterial the order of time at which it be done, it is equally forbidden by the constitution. [Bliss vs. Commonwealth, 12 Ky. (2 Litt.) 90, at 92, and 93, 13 Am. Dec. 251 (1822) |
