Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings has taken up arms against illegal guns.
Rawlings said Monday that the decision to take on the issue was triggered by a discussions during a recent pow-wow of top U.S. law enforcement and city officials. The mayor, who has made domestic violence a hallmark issue, said he has officially signed on with Mayors Against Illegal Guns after he decided that he could take a “unifying” approach to firearms. |

I live in Dallas. Take my word for it this guy is anti-gun. He does not speak for me. Dallas used to be a conservative town. But the white middle class moved way out beyond most of the suburbs. The left wingers control the City of Dallas and Dallas Co. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
"Secrecy is the keystone of all tyranny. Not force, but secrecy ... censorship. When any government, or any church, for that matter, undertakes to say to it's subjects, 'This you may not read, this you must not see, this you are forbidden to know,' the end result is tyranny and oppression, no matter how holy the motives. Mighty little force is needed to control a man whose mind has been hoodwinked; contrariwise, no amount of force can control a free man, a man whose mind is free. No, not the rack, not fission bombs, not anything. You cannot conquer a free man; the most you can do is kill him." --Robert A. Heinlein, "Revolt in 2100" (Pg. 68-69, Baen Books paperback edition, 1999 printing) |
